Does anyone know what these are?
My husband eagle-eyed that we had a "Level B VIP" Rating when we were checking in at the YC. I would love to know what these ratings mean. I have a feeling it means I spend too much money at WDW!!

I have never heard of that before - where did he spot it?

This is a completely wild guess, but I'd say it's some sort of internal auditing system for resort guests. The more you stay = the higher your value = the more they pay attention to you because they know you come back. It's probably along the same lines Casinos use to categorize their guests so they know who to suck up to(high rollers).

I'd like to know where this was spotted as well.

Sounds like they've got you pegged Duchess! Wonder how much sucking up you get if you're a Level A VIP.;)

I guess that means that you should always book under the same name.

I would think that being on the Grand Plan would in itself get you some sort of VIP status, even if you'd never been there before!

I'm guessing someone like Arnold Schwarzenaggar would be a Super VIP, I read he stays at the Yacht Club.
DH saw it on the computer when we were checking in. He has this weird hawk eyesight and is always spotting weird stuff.
We only get to go to WDW every two years so we tend to overdo it when we go...

The Duchess, I've never heard of that before. When we stayed in the Captains Deck Suite at the YC, we were initially given a set of resort cards. Then the CM who checked us in said, "I've given you the wrong cards." He took back what he had handed us and made us a new set of cards that were a completely different color than the prior ones. I asked him what the difference in cards meant and he said that we were VIPs. I didn't ask him any further questions, as we were itching to get to our room and into our bathing suits in order to hit the pool. My guess is that what your husband read meant that you were a concierge guest.

I read on another thread that someone noticed "VIP" next to their name on a restaurant's computer and they got a very good table. They didn't know what the VIP meant, but they had made their PS's through concierge. They suggested that being concierge guests might have had something to do with it.

We have AKL concierge so I decided to test this theory. I made a PS through concierge for Dec. 1, so I'll look for the "VIP" on the computer (if I can) and see how good the table is!

Hopefully someone else knows the answer to this question so we don't have to be sleuths!

We had a similar experience at WL. We received gold cards and were told we were VIPs. I laughed and asked what that did for us and was told it alerted staff to be sure we got excellent service. The funny thing is that you do not show the card until you are paying and at that point the service has allready been given or not given as the case may be. I think it is to make you feel special...
