Guest pool passes at GF

I'm sure this has been answered but i'm wondering if anything has changed recently. Is it possible to purchase guest passes for the pool at the GF, and if so, how much? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not clear I'm understanding your question - you're looking to purchase guest passes for someone not staying there to perhaps join you? You're looking to purchase passes to swim there when you're not staying? But I guess, either way, I'm not aware of any such option ever being offered. Pools are for resort guests, and pool hopping (as far as I've seen) is discontinued and is not an option at any pool, even for DVC folks.

I also don't believe there was ever any type of 'guest pass' you could purchase to use a pool at a resort where you aren't staying. If Disney let outside 'visitors' use the pools, they were get way more people then the pools could handle.

Pools are only for resort guest.
They have to be on a room reservation at THAT resort.

I suggest you plan a water park day.

We have stayed on property at AKL and had family staying at FW. We all went to Typhoon Lagoon to have a pool day together.

Only exception is if the pool at your resort is having work done then they tell you where you can go. IE: cr pool down use quiet pool & baylake. Etc.,

That's right, but it still wouldn't allow for guests not staying at the original resort to use the alternate pool.

Certain resorts will allow a non guest to rent a cabana, thereby making them a guest. I am unsure if GF allows that with their cabanas. I know BC/YC do not.

GF did allow cabana rentals to non-guests at one time, but no longer.

On Disney’s site:

“Cabanas are available for full day rentals. Cabanas at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa—as well as those shared by Disney’s Beach Club Resortand Disney’s Yacht Club Resort—are available to Guests of those Resorts only.”
