Can I get these at AK? If so...where? I am trying to get them ahead of time...and delivered to our room, but they are changing the design...

Hello,

You can only buy them at MGM, I forget where, but it is at one on the stores on the main street. They can also be purchased at the Christma Store IN DTD in the back of the shop. Gifts of a lifetime has had that message on their site for a long time. The design is has been the same for at least the last 2 trips i have made. Maybe you can call the Christmas shop and give them a credit card and have them sent to the resort to be held for you. It couldn't hurt to ask.

They are great to have, my 2 1/2 year old gets so much attention. All of the characters call her Princess Sarah and other cast members always address her by name. It's a good investment.

I started looking for the guest of honor badges around Christmas time, and Gifts of A lifetime wasnt carrying them. I wanted to put some things in a gift bag for my kids this time and give it to them when we get there. Just something different since we've been there so many times. I went back and checked GOAL website today, and they ARE selling them again!!! You can get the red Mickey ones!!! I emailed Jane at gifts of a lifetime,and asked if I had enough time to have them before we leave on Jan, 16th, and it just so happens she was heading to WDW in 20 minutes. I was able to get the order sent to her on the website in time. SHe got the badges for me yesterday at the park, and is shipping them out today intime for our trip next week!! You have plenty of time before your trip, so order yours today!!

What are the 'Guest of Honor Badges'? Is it something anyone can purchase, or is it part of some package? They sound like something my kids would enjoy having.

The guest of honor badges have your name on them. They look sort of like the cast members name tags. I wore one last time I was at WDW. It was so fun to be greeted by name by the cast members! Other guests even asked me questions! (That was weird. )

We got them at DTD Christmas shop our first night there - $5.99, I believe, last May. My girls, 7 and 9, LOVED the personal attention EVERYWHERE! Even costumed charachters used their names in autograph books and the talking/roving tree at AK focused on them for about 3 or 4 minutes. Also got picked to be first family on the safaris for the day by a CM who was attracted by their nametags. Can't say enough, GET THEM!!!! Have fun!

You can get them custom made if they don't have the name you're looking for. My DD's name is always spelled wrong on things, so we usually have to get everything for her custom made too. I grew up with the same problem, never got to have any of that cool stuff with your name on it, and everyone ALWAYS misspelled my name. I swore I would never do that to my child, and of course, I did anyway. My mom couldn't wait to remind me about that after we named our daughter.
