Hasanyone ever booked to use the Guest House? And is it worth it? WE will be travelling on a night flighte leaving at 9pm so wondered if it was worth having a little extra comfort

How did you book this? I have looked on the website and can't find a link. I am surprising my family as we are flying PE and booked into the lounge at Manchester with a limo picking us up in Sanford. Want to book the lounge at Sanford so can go both ways in luxury!!

WHO are you travelling with?.If its with TCD you can book direct with them.If not try them anyway they are never ones to miss out on £10.yOU can still book once you get to the airport but places are limited.

try this link www.OrlandoSanfordAirport.com.

or if you have simons book 2005 the details are on page 301

hope this helps

I booked the VIP Lounge yesterday after hearing great reports about it (£10 adults £8 kids). Let's face it if for some reason your going to be stuck in an airport for a few hours it may as well be in comfort.
Be careful though, I just checked my online booking info and they have added a pre-seating charge of £69 at the same time for some reason even though we are travelling sunshine first (pre-seating is included in the price). It's the second time I have asked them to remove this charge. pirate:

we had a 5 hour delay last year so we booked it there
did not have to book it before hand
best money we ever spent
you get free tea ,coffee ,soft drinks and biscuits plus two Alc drinks
there was free internet , Bar with a very freindly barman from France ,tv room with large TV plus lots of DVD's
Playstation room for the kids or adults . Kids toy room with soundproof glass door so you can see them but not hear them Great

so a nice time was had by us all
until we landed in Gatwick to find that we had missed our other flight home (Ryanair) and were put on standby Four flights later we got on
So Bewear
give your self plenty time inbetween flights if you are booking yourself

We've used it twice now on both trips. The first time was a surprise as they asked us at checkin if we fancied it so we just said yes as we had some spare cash. Second trip we made sure we had some cash and headed straight there and booked in at reception. You can sit and relax and its never been that busy (mind you we go in Feb/Mar). You can dump all your stuff and the free drinks plus are a godsend. Best benefit, especially with kids, it keeps them quiet for the 2-3 hours+ that your in the airport. Far more friendly than sitting in the airport lounge/bar with everyone else.

It makes a great end to the holiday before the endurance flight back to the UK.

We have booked with TCD- this is how we heard about the lounge. Do they keep numbers low- just wondered if its actually possible to use the internet & playstation room or are there huge queues?

it was quite the evening we were there as was the airport it self

i wish i had booked it last year.5 hour delay was a nightmare, ended up lying on the floor in the smoking area as main lounge so crowded. Also poor selection of food in so called restaurant. We have booked it already for next year, can't wait!!!
