GUESS WHO'S COMING TO FREE DINNER, or, Feeding Nebo,,,,completed

We saw a gator in the water when we were on Tom Sawyer's Island in May, 2004. Gives a whole new outlook to walking across the barrel bridge!!!

The CMs watching it told me the alligators hang out by the duck feeders. It disappeared a few minutes later and we saw the CMs covering all the duck feeders.

It was a little one. Maybe 3 - 4 feet.

You mean this guy!???

My friend and I saw him on the frontierland side, her father refused to believe there could be a real live gator on Disney property, he absolutely swore it had to be a fake.

OMG!!! That's a creepy picture!!!!!!!!!!!! Nope, ours was littler. Not menacing. Almost cute. Well, as cute as an alligator can be.

I think I might have mentioned once or a hundred times, I'm a Bears fan. It's really pathetic to think that tomorrow's happiness is going to depend on how well these guys do trying to make snot come out of the other guy's noses. So,,,,, please,,,, if you would all bow your heads now:

I started your report, way back when and then decided to wait until you are finished. Anyways, after I saw that the Bears are going to the SuperBowl, I decided to pay homage to Nebo and read the TR Today. (Want to know how many Packer Fans are shaking their heads in disbelief and wondering what is so wrong with that situation).

Anyways, thanks for making me laugh the last 2 hours, I just wonder if it is going to take me another 2 hours to read the last 7 pages.

ok. nebo asked his wife to post for him...... kay, melinda, tigger, you guessed it. you HAD to KNOW that nebos team could NOT get through to the super bowl without a "NEBO MISHAP" it's IN THE CARDS!!!!
the poor old guy was just SO HAPPY!!!! (ok < i;m only 2 years younger than him, but BEAR with me . no pun intended, and I can't WAIT to see what kay does with THIS!)
nebo was SO happy that we are in the superbowl.. we went up to the bar to have a couple celebratory drinks. we got home. NOW, nebo and I NEVER go to sleep without reading SOMETHING.. it's the rule. we are intelligent people, the rule is you HAVE to read before sleep (our sons are 24 and 28, and I think my daughter-in -laws are getting tired of me calling and saying "are you READING NOW?" areyou READING to my grandchildren"? just kidding. (although, NEVER STOP reading to the children.. it's a lost art, but... I digress)
so poor NEBO sat down on the side of the bed, decided at the last minute to REACH out for his UNCLE JOHNS BATHROOM READER and TWANG!!!! there went that nasty sacariliac joint or what ever they call it. you just twist the WRONG way at the wrong time and you NEBO fans know the rest.

he wanted me to post and let you know he had EVERY intention of writing another installemnt tonight, but he can't sit at the computer

So sorry Nebo is out of comission. Hope he is back on his feet soon. I am not a big football fan, but live in the land of the Patriots.
At a party on sunday, the Bears game was on, and I couldn't help but watch (a little) and cheer on Nebo's Bears. Congratulations on your win. Rest and heal over the next 12 days, and be careful.

I actually feel too sorry for Nebo to laugh at him.

I thought you were going to say that he was so excited he jumped up, inspired by the cheerleaders, and did a back flip. Or maybe he tried to do a six man pyramid with only himself in all six positions.

But in reality? he hurt himself by. . . . oh, my! I can just see the call to his doctor:

"Doc, I injured myself reading."

"I see. Reading is very strenuous work. You can break a leg or two reading if you're not careful."

Smidgy, tell him we're really sorry for him. Really and truly. And despite my inability to resist having fun at his expense, I do "feel his pain." I have a couple inflamed discs. They're not bad now, but I've had my share of pain from them for about three years, and sciatic pain so bad it was nearly impossible to sit.

And on a lighter note, completely off the depressing topic of pain: Smidgy, I remember reading you plan not to cut your long hair despite being +/- 50. Good for you. I still have long hair, too. I may never cut it. If I get so old it doesn't look right on me anymore, I'll put it up in a bun.

Sorry to hear about nebo's injury!! Takes the excitment out of a great day, doesn't it? I had surgery on my back a few years ago to repair a disc that had fragmented and was compressing my sciatic (sp?) nerve - so I can definately relate!!

On a lighter note - congrats to your Bears. I became a Bears fan when they drafted Tommie Harris (from my Sooners ), and then when they took Mark Bradley last year it got even better, so I was very happy on Sunday!! DS10 wore his Bears #91 jersey to school yesterday too!

Poor nebo... how emBEARassing... have you notified his next of SKIN? I could BEARly stand to hear about the poor man's injury since mine has just started to heal (or in my case - HEEL!)
