Guess who made it to the hot seat (again)?

ME!!! OMG, I couldn't believe it!! Tim was ahead of me, but when I looked at the board and they said seat 363 I think I may have yelled "that's me!!" This time I made it to the 125,000 question (in August, I only made it to the 2000).

If you haven't played WWTBAM yet, it is an absolute must!!! I was shaking like a leaf...all those people are looking at you, and they project your face on a giant TV that makes you look about 3 stories tall, but it is so cool! So, now I can't play again for thirty days which is a bummer because I am going back with Peggie on Friday, but by the summer, I am so there!!

Though I did not get to see Leslie in the hot seat, Perdita and I did get to see here a little while after it happened. She had that look of a kid in a candy store, showing us all her goodies she had won. Well the next thing we knew we had said our good-byes and have a safe trip home, and then Perndwler, Perdita and I headed to WWTBAM to try our luck. Perdita and I on 2 different times had both made it to like the 3rd spot in the top ten. Sure wish Leslie would have been there, she would have had to say she passes( sorry,Leslie, I couldn't resist), then we would have hoped the next person would have done the same, but it didn't work out that way. But we had a blast!!

Leslie...please SHARE your 32K, 64K, 125K questions and the 250K one that you walked on. I always like to hear them..Got in the hot seat last month, and walked at 125K. Had gotten to 32K without using a lifeline, and then wasted TWO on the designer Valentino at 64 K yes, Lori, another designer question!!)...I used the phone a stranger for the 125K...which of the following dances originated in Cuba...ChaCha, Meringue, Mambo, or Samba...I knew it wasn't Samba (Brazil), but wasn't sure about the other 3, but my stranger said Meringue...and I wasn't sure (it was Mambo, which I had thought might be Puerto Rican) so I walked...Please please share..
Donna- your brains are JUST FINE for the show...its just that fast fast fast finger on the correct answer...I predict you'll get up there someday!

Hi Suzanne, Let's see.... my last question was the 125,000 point question. It was "Which of the following is the gift for 55th wedding anniversary?" emerald, platinum, ruby and one other that I can't recall....I had the phone a complete stranger left, but I was so sure that it was platinum that I didn't use it. The answer was emerald...oh well. I used the 50/50 on a question concerning what football team plays at the Pontiac Silverdome (obviously I am not a big football fan). Used the ask the audience on a question about the spiritual book of the Hindu religion, and then didn't use their answer because I knew they were wrong.

Can't wait til I go back in July so I can play again!!

you had some real tougies...I'm not sure about anniversaries...50 gold? 60 or 65 diamond??? I don't know...I think 75 is "diamond jubilee", but I'm not sure..
What is the Hindu spirtual book? I don't know that one either..
I missed one time when 63% of the audience said Grandma Moses was "discovered" as an artist in her early 80's...it was her late 70's oh well..
this last time, I was felled by a designer...I'll never forget that Valentino's color is RED RED RED...duh...

Way to go Leslie, you brain you!! I loved seeing all the goodies you got for your hot seat play.

I played for the first time back in December when I was at WDW w/DH. We tried to go back the next day, but had a run-in with the MGM parking Nazi (another story) and decided to go to Perkins for pancakes instead (that's how my obsession for Perkins pancakes began). Then it was time to go catch our plane.

Lori, Robin and I had great fun the 2 times we played last Sunday!! I was in the top 3 when they were filling the hot seat. The #1 person declined and I got all excited, except the #2 person (a 12 year old) took the hot seat. Darn!

The game really is addicting - I can't wait to play again in May!
