Guess what today is?

It's a snow day for my kids! Funny how those words mean very different things to a 10 yr old versus a 34 yr old!

Yep my kids had a snow day today so all 4 are home.
After DH finally made it out our long driveway and down our road which is private and therefore not plowed by the county and was on his way to work, the kids bundled up and went out to make snow angels.

Then they came in to cups of hot cocoa with marshmellows and popcorn and a movie.

They are lovin it! Me? Well, all I can say is there better be school tomorrow.

LOL and just think... winter is just starting. Enjoy those snow days, there will be plenty more. Fortunately we didn't get enough snow for a snow day, but I know they're comin'.

No such thing as snow days were I come from. The snow could be up to the roof and they still expect you to come in at our high schools. At least the administration for our grade schools have some common sense.
