I bought 100 glowsticks to take to WDW with us next weekend. I thought my family could share them with other families during the nighttime events...if you were at WDW, would you let your DD or DS take a glowstick from a stranger? Bearing in mind my entire family will probably be covered from head to toe in them?
It was a great deal on 100 ($12.) they are the 10 inch version...I bought them for my kids to have, but then I got to thinking about it,and thought it might be a nice way to share some of the magic.

What do you think??

Groosch!! That's GREAT!! I'm sure lot's of folks will appreicate that! :):):)

What a wonderful idea! So nice of you to think of others! I'd let my little guy have a glow stick from ya'll.

Nice to know there are people in the world that likes to share magic, Boo'sMom. :D

What a great idea and a great price too. I'd let my child accept a glo stick at WDW :)

How thoughtful of you!

My son would love to accept such a gift and I would let him.

What a cool idea. I would absolutley let my little man take a glo stick from you! What a nice way to share a little magic. Where did you get them all? We are going in January, and I might like to 'steal' your idea!!!!

I think that is a wonderful idea! I know I would accept a glo stick from someone at WDW, especially if they are covered head to toe in them. That is such a kind thing for you to do!!!

You are going to make a lot of kids smile:D
I'm sure you'll find plenty of takers!

That's a great idea. I take pins and little Disney toys to hand out to kids and they love it.

Thanks for the advice..that's what I'm going to do.

debster....I bought them on e-bay..just entered "glowstick" in the search. This distribution company sells them for $12.95 per 100, and I e-mailed him to see if he'd sell me some before the auction closed (he was selling 1000,and it closed in 9 days...too close to my trip).

I did that for our cub scouts for resident camp. The camp charges $2 per glowstick or $6 for a box of 4 smaller ones. Most parents dont think about their kids being in a totally dark tent at night. This saved the kids from leaving flashlights on all night since we cant turn anything in their tents off for them.

Maybe you could let your kids hand them out to other kids
parents couldn't object to that - at least I wouldn't
