Hey guys! I'm sooo excited right now...like kid in the candy store in Frontierland excited...(OH! Disney reference one for me!)

Anyways, I got our first piece of Disney mail today, welcoming us back and stuff for our upcoming trip!

I told my mom NOT TO THROW IT OUT because this year I am finally going to make an official scrapbook (via the $20.00 wicked nice Disney photoalbum I bought over 3 years ago at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney) because hey, for my graduation trip....what could be a better time! (Instead of collecting all my stuff and putting it in a box! HAHA!)

So anyways, to make this thread have a point...when do you start getting excited for Disney? When you do...what DO you do? For example, some people watch the Disney Vacation Planning video...I just changed my icon to Disney...says "Now that school's over, what are you gonna do? Go to Disney World!" with a pic of the castle. And of course, I also came on here to talk to you guys!

Me right now ---> :cloud9:

Cool. Scrapbooking is always fun. I watch the Disney Vacation Planning video and sometimes make a list of the rides I wanna do. :)

I get my suitcase out and put it in the middle of my room

I get the map online and I look at all the rides I want to ride when I get there.

Then I approxiamte how long each line will take and then I categorize them from the ride that takes the least to the ride that takes the longest.I'm such a nerd, I know... :lmao:

I watch the Disney Planning Video several times by myself
I watch the Disney Planning Video several times with my family
Look at old pictures of when we went
I watch classic disney movies
I DIS
Watch when we went to disney.

I start getting really excited during the month that I go. I get REALLY REALLY REALLY excited a week before I go.

I make a list of all the rides I want to go on
I then pester my family about what rides they want to go on,
I make a chart of all the rides everyone wants to go on
watch the vacation planning video
start a countdown calendar.

At least I know I'm not alone in my planning rituals lol

I figure plans on how to ditch my family. Then I get all my pins rdy to travel, got to find trading pins online and books to hold the ones i'll be getting.

Also have to check if my checking account has some spending money :D; can't stand going to WDW broke.

i get excited the moment we book it (not like the time we went in 2003 i didn't know till about 2 weeks before we were going and even my sisters knew we were going before me...)

turn my spending money into dollars
watch disney videos
go over the rides i want to do
hopefully might go around the parks by myself this year
start packing in advance (maybe 6 months before we go?)
take everything out and pack again (to pass the time)
take everything out and pack again (to pass the time)
take everything out and pack again (to pass the time)
take everything out and pack again (to pass the time)
take everything out and pack again (hopefully the last time)
watch those relive the magic DVDs with family/myself
make a calendar of how many days to go
explore the DIS to find things to do when we are there (you know like tours, planning tips, etc.)
hopefully get a scuba diving certificate by the next time we go (after this time) so i can do that diving tour at EPCOT

can't think of anything else though

i have LESS THAN A MONTH SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO EXCITED! and this time will be extraspecial cuz i'll have my bestest friends with me :teeth:

but yea
look at old yearbooks
dis
watch the new disney dvd park thing over and over
start to buy stuff for the road trip down
go to the bank to get money out of my savings account
countdown calendar
disney movies
start to organize packing
try to eat healthier and prepare myself for the extreme walking cuz once I am down in WDW there is NO WAY POSSIBLE that I am eating healthy
Read the disney books

i go on the official disney site and look around, look at photos from past holidays and have a massive countdown!

I get my suitcase out and just throw everything I might possibly bring into it

I look at old photos of me and my family at Disney

I go to the Disney World website and click on every single ride/attraction and watch the little previews they have (I do that A LOT!)

I read other people's trip reports (sometimes)
