I would go with changing the 11-month Home resort advantage to ONE month - SO many new members complaining about limited availiability...........

OR

No more AP discount and required ticket purchase with stay - sooooo many members request having park tickets added to their KTTW - this will make members happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every recent change to DVC has supposedly been due to "member response" yet when the actually did a survey about adding a slide at OKW and the members voted against it, they went ahead and built one anyway. Obviously they don't give a darn what members really want.

We've been members since '94, but as I posted on the other thread, we don't like the changes we've seen in recent years; this may be the last straw that pushes us into selling. I agree with those who have said this no longer resembles the DVC we purchased.

I'm with you don't give them any more "customer requests". But then again they dream stuff up on their own without our help.

Seriously....you know they are reading this....and some bigwig will go....WOW what a great idea....Why provide towels at the pool.....people like big beach towels anyway

Wow I'm shocked.....why would people not want a slide...to deter kids from staying there

Hmm... Maybe to increase our DVC customers health and well being if you stay at a resort on points we now offer jogging trails to the park instead of bus service..

Maybe the next member enhancement can be............Member Surveys!

We get the blame for all the "enhancements" to our memberships. I'd actually like some input without writing a letter to complain about every missing bar of soap.

Perhaps, then, they will do the opposite of what we suggest.

In that case I'd ask - no...I DEMAND...that they NEVER study, engineer or begin planning a DVC resort at or near the WDW Polynesian Resort. Furtherrmore, if they do plan such a resort it should NOT utilize the decor and design of what they are already working on in Hawaii.

In order to enhance our member satisfaction due to complaints regarding long waits at check-in, we will now require all members to strip their beds, wash, iron and fold the sheets, scrub clean the bathrooms (preferably on their knees) and checkout before 8am.




The way things are going DVC management will probably love my new "enhancements"

I was watching my kids go down the slide again and again at OKW (not our home resort, ours is vwl), and some old grumpies were floating around in the pool saying "I hate that d*mn slide".

So yeah, I definitely think that there ARE lots of OKW members that didn't ask for that particular "enhancement", lol.

I like it, though

I would like a requirement that says somebody has to do something to make me feel extra special at some point before I check out or I get my points back.

while i wouldn't mind a trail from AKV to AK or a walkway to epcot (a new DVC entrance near mexico?) from OKW as an option...yeah, it might get old...

To proved an easier transition back to the real world, we've changed the checkout times to 5 AM. Check-in times will still be at 7PM. And if you're in town on business, be sure to inquire about our new '4 hour naps'.
