Over 300 people all of them pin trading like there was no tomorrow.

Yes its true spotters said we had over 300 people there it looked like Woodstock except nobody was naked… Well Kathryn lost her top but it was an accident she lost a pin back.

Somebody said it was like a Barry Manilow concert… I had that person removed. Barry Manilow pleeeeeassse.

It was wall-to-wall people you had to step over bodies to move around. I gave up and just there.

Gang if you go to Disney World this is the place to go before you leave or as you get there, just ask anybody who's been there.

So if you're shy, brave, a kid, an adults, any body looking for that Holy Grail if it's out there its at the Friday meet.

Joining us this Friday was Jojo, Dom, Ramva, Chef Manny, and his drop dead gorgeous wife… I mean that in a purely scientific way Manny.

There were pins from Paris, Tokyo, California, and oh yea WDW. The hot topic for the evening was those gosh darn State pins, everybody wanted then, and they were trading just about anything for them.

So next time your in WDW make sure you hit the Contemporary you'll be glad you did, and we'll keep the light on for ya.

Great now I sound like a Motel 6 commercial… I sure hope Kathryn and Disney appreciate this.

With all the good there is some bad some bad, shark types did invade the waters, and a few people have been ask to leave as well as been escorted out. All we ask is trade as if you were trading with your own family member… cause to Kathryn, Donna, and myself these people are all family members, so trade nice please.

Don't leave me out! I had a great time, it has been over a month for me and I sure was missing everyone. It was great to see you all!! Especially Michelle and Manny, that was a real nice surprise. I wanted to meet you all but it was just to hard to do. I did see a Tokyo couple that I had meet some time ago and we had a lot of fun. However I have not been practicing my Japanese and instead of saying my treat when I gave there daughter a pin, I may have said something else intirely. They sure gave me a strange look and then laughed. I hope what I said was not to strange, I usually save those statements for my english speaking friends. Of course they usually give me that same blank look as well.


Once again thank you all for going and making me feel at home. I hope to see you all next week.

The "top" I lost was my seat at the top of my table. For that matter I lost my seat all the way around the hostesss table.
Raul, I haven't told you lately that I love you. Yes we love you and appreciate you. Can you do me a favor though? Make JJ come back. Since you and your cleverness have found your way to our boards Jazzy Jeff and his stories have disappeared. Do that wonderful thing you do with your irresistible charm and bring him back wont cha?

Let's see who else did we meet? CM Audrey, CM Scott, CM Amamda - gosh I'm gonna miss that gal (college program ended for her), Pinhook, CM Darin, Eric, Kristen, Sue (mom) and Dad from San Diegp they had the first pin ever released by DL Hong Kong. Pens O' Plenty Yes - Karin minus her son Neon.

We met Brad and Jenn who I learned Saturday night were Mickey 2000, Al and Diane's adult children. Big Mike was there. mouseman698 randy and opps sorry forgot wife's name.

Whew brain cramp! and Ed, she knew you didn't do it on purpose, but what a smart girl, she followed me out of the Contemp and never made a wrong turn

Yes we did have a few not-for-hobby mentality people at the meet, but I got around and they got the message. Security has been fabulous.

Wow Ed and Kathryn,

Your group is really growing.

Maybe that might let you use the convention center if you keep up at this rate.

We will be down in March, but will get off the cruise on Saturday, so will miss Friday night again - are you still at the Poly on Saturday.

You are such a sweetie! I know you only say nice things about me because I grope you every time I see you. Luckily, my husband and your wife are both very tolerant! It was a truly great evening, I was able to surprise some friends (you, Kathryn, Janice, Roy, Karen) with a unplanned visit on the way home from Atlanta. There were so many people there, no one noticed Janice (goofymom) and I jumping up and down squealing like 5 year olds! I wonder if that poor boy ever found his Maryland state pin? The Poly on Saturday was just as great, I got some cool Japanese Xmas pins. I can't wait to be on a cruise ship with you for four days straight!! What a blast we're going to have!

My family and I had such a great time at the contemporary when we were there in November. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Can't you take that show on the road. It would be very welcome in Syracuse. I'd even let you all stay at my house!

We missed out on the Contemporary on Friday night
(finished a little late at work) But............Boy did we
have a GREAT time at the Polynesian Hotel on Saturday
night. Between the Polynesian's (can you say ""WOW""")
dinner and then the Pin Meet, inbetween the fireworks
on the beach at 9:00 and then the electrical light
parade type boats on the lagoon and then back to the
pin meet (which I must say: Kathryn, Ed, Donna, Roy,
Janice, Chef Manny, Michelle, Derek & Lesley and everyone
of our pin friends!!!!) we had a BLAST as always!!!!

We really do have withdrawls when we get back to
our average lives!!!! We really do need to move closer!!

See everyone in a couple of weeks!!!

My parents started working at Disney yesterday (1/1). I told my mom about the Contemporary and Poly pin meets and I think she might stop by. Her name is Janet. You can also find her working in the Emporium or doing parade duty in the area of the Walt and Mickey statue. Of course I am obligated to visit them while they are working there. I'll be down Feb 9-24. See you then.
