Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Opening Weekend

The new Guardians movie is opening on May 5 in theaters. I assume that all ships will screen the movie as well? I heard that the ships screen the new movies at the same time they open on land.

Yep, used to be at 12:01 am. These days, Friday releases are often shown Thursday in my local theater, so perhaps that’s an option? But expect it to be shown in the Walt Disney Theater for a PremEAR at Sea and then throughout the cruise in the a Buena Vista Theater (as a minimum).

Well, they have in the past. Chances are they will continue to do so.

Thank you! Just wanted to confirm because I’m a Marvel fan but my bff is not quite.
I told her she’ll have to watch Guardians 1&2 before watching this one! We’re both on the cruise from San Diego to Vancouver next week, our first DCL and are excited to be on the Wonder.

I didn't do super hero/comic book movies until one of my best friends dragged me to vol. 1 - he assured me I'd like them because they were misfits and not the perfect beings I thought of super heroes as being.

He was right. I have since gone back and watched all the MCU. But Guardians was my "gateway drug".

PS - vol. 3 is incredible!!!!! I got to see a screening on Friday. SOOOOOOOOOO good!!!!!

Just an FYI that it will not show on the navigators until the day of….it magically gets added to schedule!
