Wrong 2014 movie with Chris PrattHonestly I could have a think tank with some of my buddies and come up with such a better name than that.

Okay. Adding screens to a buzz type ride doesn't seem revolutionary to me. Maybe if they made the ride track less and the ride vehicles interacted with how you did in the game or something.
I think buzz would benefit from an update before its redone. If Disney wants to redo or retrofit a ride it should be one like Buzz( it is pretty terrible IMO) and not an icon like Tower of Terror.
It's a good think Facebook is harder to censor cuz those comments on their FB page under the story for this....How long do comments sit in moderation on the parks blog site? I'm refreshing and still seeing zero comments.
That expression is not about any one person not EVER being made to be happy. It only says that it's impossible to make EVERYONE happy with any given decision. That's all. And I maintain that DIS is one of the best examples / illustrations of that.Oh please! I was one of the biggest rah-rah people anywhere on this forum at one time. It is possible to be unhappy about things without being labeled someone that can never be made happy.
I just cannot imagine how one can think that this tiny little period of time -- mostly rumored decreased attendance for a short period, not confirmed -- is enough data of any sort to draw any conclusions.
Thankfully, decent companies base decisions on far more than this.
I think that sometimes people conflate their own personal distaste for something and a tiny bit of corroborating anecdotal evidence, with PROOF that the thing they dislike is a widespread problem.
It's staggering the number of doomsday predictions that have appeared on this board that have NEVER come to pass... At least not yet!!!

(ETA: MCU=Marvel Cinematic Universe duh lol.) MCU=Marvel Comics? If that's the case that makes sense that more people on the Marvel side are excited for it rather than the Disney fans not being excited about it.This made me go check out their FB. The Disneyland FB has 10K emojis with 3.8K being angry or sad. The comments are definately slanted towards the negative. The Disney Corp FB page announcement has 3.8K emojis with 1.4K being angry or sad and likewise the comments scew negative. The MCU page has the announcement and has 1.2K mostly likes.
If the rumor for Ellen's Energy Adventure comes true at WDW you'll still see people somewhat upset about that perhaps more along the lines of wanting a new attraction than just reusing an existing attraction.
Well that was kind of my point. I've even mentioned on another thread that I don't have the emotional attachment to Ellen. It's not an iconic attraction by any means and doesn't tug at the heartstrings like ToT does. Majority of those that would be upset about Ellen would more or less because it would be re-using an attraction rather than adding a brand new one. Obviously though there are some people who love Ellen though but I wouldn't say they are in the majority at all. Some but I'm not sure Ellen has the appeal of ToT. Thats almost apples to oranges. But you are right considering Wonder of Life sits dormant right next door.

If GotG had it's own ride in DCA without taking away another ride I'm willing to bet people would be more excited about it. As is people who love ToT (many of the ones leaving negative comments on Disney's FB page) see it as losing their beloved attraction to a theme that may or may not fit well/theme they don't want. They would rather it be left alone.

Yeah I'm in the boat of I love Epcot. I was the rare kid that absolutely gobbled up all the information you could give me regarding the countries and never found Epcot boring.Maybe, depending on how it is done. I think people will get upset if they do away with the original concept of EPCOT entirely (aka it's the beginning of all IP only attractions in EPCOT with no connection to the idea of Future World). If GOTG is integrated into Future World without destroying the concept (never seen it so no idea how), I think the vast majority of people would be excited.
Don't know who you mean. The same could be said about the number of people rocking those rose tinted glasses.
Don't know who you mean.
I base my take re: their business decisions upon actual business results over a substantial period of time.
And that's separate from my personal feelings about any given decision.
Don't know about anyone else.
