Guaranteed 2 queens at Grand California

Hello! Planning a trip for July. We've stayed at the GCH once before. We want to guarantee getting 2 Queen beds for 3 adults. DD20 does not want to sleep on a pull out or a day bed. Is there any way to guarantee 2 queens rather than the other room combinations? If not, we'll have to say at DLR which I hear is nice but we loved the easy access to the DCA on our last trip 5 years ago.

Change your reservation and add an imaginary kid. Then you will be a party of 4 and be guaranteed 2 beds.

CHances of getting a king are pretty slim as there are only like 37 in the hotel. But add 1 person to your reservation.

I have stayed at the GCH many times with a 2 queen request for only 2 people and it has always been granted. So I'd say your chances are really good. But, from pp advice, it seems like noting 4 on your reservation is a guarantee.

Agree about adding a 4th. You could also call and request 2 queens, but they won't guarantee it.

I'm not positive about this, but there may be an additional cost if you add another adult. If you're going to do this, make sure you add a kid, as DLgal said.

There is an additional cost of $50 per night per each adult over 2 in a room.
