Yeah, I know. Curious about folks on cruise restart prior to mine who have seen their assigned room populate in the reservation….It used to be about 50-60 days before the cruise.
Did you book a restricted fare -- IGT, OGT or VGT? Or was it a specific category number/letter GTY? The restricted fares generally received their room assignments much later than the regular GTY. So if you are a restricted fare, it may not be until with 2 weeks of your sail date.Has anyone figured out when those of us with GTY are getting rooms assigned to us (for these post-COVID times)? I sail on 9/6 and this is the first time I’ve done GTY (couldn’t beat the FL resident rate, to give up that control).
TIA.
Sounds like I should just be patient for a few more days. Fingers crossed I can do an upgrade into concierge, there are several open rooms on my sailing.I am on the august 20th and 23rd cruise. people in our FB group have been getting their assignments for a couple weeks.
lWe were GTY in 2019 and it was just 12 days out it seemed fairly normal to be 10-20 days out from looking through the thread as well:
Maybe VGT is different than GTY though? I am not up to speed on all the abbreviations.

Ekkkkk we are on the 8/20 sailing too!! Had to book it because waiting for our 10/2 sailing on the Fantasy won’t come fast enoughI am on the august 20th and 23rd cruise. people in our FB group have been getting their assignments for a couple weeks.
9/6 sail date and no stateroom assignment yet, but my online check-in is still "pending" so I figure I won't get any assignment until everything is cleared/accepted on their end.
I'm also on the 9/6 w/2 unassigned GTY rooms and check in still pending. I was hoping the 30 mark would be it, but it makes sense that they'd wait until check in is all clear before assigning. Doesn't make me less impatient, though.I'm just so excited to be cruising again.
