Signing on! I'll try to get caught up, but looks like that's gonna take a while! A lot of good stuff here!
No hurry...I know you are still working on your TR.
Wow that is a cool pic of Markie on the rocks, that water looks crystal clear.
Sorry to hear about the household break downs, that is not fun when that happens. But like Karin says these things come in threes, so hopefully thats it.
Well, the good news is we got the stove/oven fixed and it was only $150 (better than $600 or $700 for a new one. We needed a new ignitor switch.
Kathy,
Best of luck to all of the wrestlers!
Great pictures too.
Sorry to hear about the unwanted expenses.

That seems to happen to us as well. They all go at the same time.
The wrestlers did great! They had 14 All Americans and three champs and six third placers and a few fifth placers too.
Yay!!!!!! SO happy you don't have to cancel the Disney part of your trip!!!
And how amazing that your son is giving you the money you need! That's fantastic!
He's a great young man. He starts student teaching in August at one of the high schools here -- he's going to be a great teacher.
How wonderful! What a sweetie!! Good thing will come to him for his thoughtfulness.
Mia did something very similar just after she graduated from college when I was planning on a pilgrimage to Fatima and Murphy's Law seem to be happening everyday. She insisted on using some of her money she saved her new car...Karma came back to her because the week I was gone she found her dream car, got fabulous financing and picked the car up the day I returned.
You've got yourself a great kid...excuse me, young man.
I have two great young men. I'm sure if Markie had the money he'd offer to...but, then again, he might use it for the casino.

That is FANTASTIC news! What wonderful sons you've raised, Kathy. Please let me know your secrets. So happy for you!
No secrets. My mother-in-law used to complain ALL the time that we did too much running around with football, basketball, soccer, baseball and wrestling and had no lives of our own. And, as I always told her, what would she rather have? Us going to sporting events where we knew where the kids were, or letting them hang out on a street corner. I think their participation in sports was a HUGE influence on both of the boys...and each had one coach in particular that was a huge influence on each of them...and they remain a part of their lives to this day.
That is so sweet Kathy! You should be very proud, it sounds like you have raised two very kind and thoughtful young men
I am very proud of both of them. Although I keep saying, "I can't wait until they move out of the house", I'm glad they are giving back in their own ways.
That is so sweet. You should feel very proud that you raised not only a great son, but a great person. It sounds like he has a very big heart and is appreciative of all you have done for him.
Thank you. He's already told us that he is paying for us to "swim with the dolphins" when we go on our cruise in 2013 for Mark's 60th and our 30th. I told him I hoped I was in good enough shape to do so.
I'm so glad the trip can continue. Sounds like you've raised a very kind, generous son!
Thank you.
You've done a great job in raising a very generous and thoughtful young man. I think mine would do the same, but only if he were allowed to go too.
Andy likes Disney and will probably take his team next year (he likes to be with them two years before he commits to that big of a tournament and this year's team is a new one. He's already told me I'm in charge of planning his
Disney vacations once he is married and produces grandchildren. I told him that was fine...but I'm in NO HURRY to be a grandmother.
Aww Kathy Its times like these when you are proud to be a mum and dad and have a son that you can be very proud of too. What a sweet generous thing he did for you. I am so glad you guys can still go to Disney now
Thanks, Stefy. We are a very proud mum and dad.
Karin, I will give him a hug from you. I can't believe you are still in school. It's almost over...just four more days.
What a great son you and Mark raised there Kathy! He is right too, you both deserve this vacation.
Thanks. Lisa. Although we've been fortunate to go every year and we could have skipped this year, he knows how much we love it and how much we just love "forgetting the every day battles" while we are there.
How proud you and your hubby must be of your son! That's awesome!!!
I'm glad that the Disney portion of your trip is still a go.............
Me too. How is Joe doing?
I have to agree with the others, that boy is AWESOME!!!!!!!
Thanks, Kat.
Everything looks good Kathy.
You are so lucky that you get to meet Joe and Sophia, hope you guys have a blast together
Yes, we missed Joe and Sophia last year (I think they were there a couple of weeks before us), so I'm looking forward to it).
A day at each park, I like that plan! I hope you can fit everything in on your AK day, though and still get to do a swim.
I think we'll fit in everything at AK, Liesa. Mark won't be able to do Expedition or Dinosaur because of his surgery. And we are usually done there by 1:00 even when we do those; so that is why we are hoping to add the two shows we've not seen.
Kathy -
I had no idea your trip was in jeopardy of being canceled. I am so happy that did not happen. Kudos to your son.
Your plans look wonderful! You are going to have a great trip!
Thanks, Mary Ellen. We could have charged it but I just didn't want to go that route. Andy is a sweetie (and it looks like he and the ex-girlfriend are back on the right track

).
Kathy,
I'm so glad that you are still coming!
Love your plans and I am excited for the "meet Joe and Sophia" part.
~Sophia
Us too! Do I have the right night? Sunday, the 19th? I thought we could meet for a drink before your dinner at Maya. Perhaps at the Laguna Bar by the lake?
Glad everything worked out!
Thank you. I have to now go try and catch up on everyone's PTR's and TR's...I'm so far behind after this long weekend. Have to go see if there are any new pictures of that sweet puppy of yours.
