Installment #9 is on deck!

What exactly does that mean?
a. You're thinking about writing installment #9
b. You're in the midst of writing installment #9
c. You're finalizing installment #9
d. You're proofreading installment #9

Not that I'm rushing you or anything, but ya know, just kind of wondering. :wave2:

LOL, zachnlucy! Hmm, I think I'll go with B! Might be Friday I get it up, but it might not be until Monday or Tuesday. We are going out of town this weekend and I have a Teaching Methods class on Monday night. Boooooooooooooooooooo!

This teaching BS really cuts into my DISing time!

:teeth:

Okay, I have just sat here and, between making dinner, eating dinner, chasing a 2yo, cleaning up poop, eating some more dinner, and thinking aoubt what I'm going to drink tonight(a LaBlatt Blue or some cheap wine), I have read ALL your reports. I am now hooked. The "Grubbin and Boozin" title grabbed me and yanked me in...I'm all caught up now and patiently waiting(tap, tap, tap)

Mickeymousemom - I was just reading your signature thingy and I see you are a ND fan! Me too. I graduated from that women's college across the street a few years ago and I was in the ND band!

Oh and Vettechick - Hurry up! Please :-)

just subscribing...can't believe I haven't read your thread b/f now - it is fabulous! Especially with a good glass of red!

Beautiful, witty, smart and charming...but as a fellow Georgia girl, I would expect no less! ;) You make us proud!!! :thumbsup2

Part 9 isn't quite done yet and I'm heading out the door for a weekend away. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll see you all next week!

I'm way behind in reading, but dying of laughter here on installment five, with the photography comments! You are too much! :lmao:

Don't you know that when you're so popular on the DIS you have to have a permission slip before leaving for the weekend? Many people depend on you for their entertainment and it's just not fair. :teeth: Hope you had a great weekend! Still holding on for the next one... :bored: :yo-yo: :sail: :drinking: (my random smilies serve no purpose but to entertain me while you're not ;) )

WOW! I have officially spent 15 hours (off and on of course) reading this entire thread! Vettechick you are amazingly talented at trip reports . DF and I also enjoy nothing more than circling the world showcase and getting toasted. God forbid if it's an extra magic hour evening, we would usually be crawling our way back over the the Yacht Club drunk off of Stella and Lowenbrau (not to mention belinis, moraccan daquiris, margueritas and sake yumm). Thank you for the Disney and booze fix...we just gave up drinking for about 4 months until our wedding Hopefully it will only make our "grubbin n boozin'" honeymoon all the better! Don't keep us waiting too long!!!!

Where did you get the Stella? Stella is Belgian beer, and I didn't now they had Belgian stuff at the World!

About the ice wine: I once had the opportunity to taste it while visiting a German winery (for free, that must have been the best part!) and they said it's the kind of wine you can keep for about 100 years... It is made of the grapes that they pick early early morning, when the dawn (is it that how you call it? the water drops that are on the plants early in the morning) is still frozen, and the grapes are then processed frozen. That way, there is a higher sugar level in the ice wine. (Did you all knew that, ah? ah? AH!)

Vettechick, I just love your report, I can't wait for the next installment and for your first novel!

Its when the DEW is frozen on the grapes.

Stella is brewed all over the place under licence now.

Its scary how much I know about alcohol! :earseek:

You can get both Stella (one of my favourites) on tap at the UK pub in Epcot... along with cute saucy English barmaids. Which just happens to be one of my Big Mellyman's favourites.

Maybe that's not so PC?!

Who gives a crap anyway?!

How cool! I love the campus up there...we've been lucky enough to see a few football games. With Charlie at the helm I doubt we'll be able to get anywhere near any tickets! Go IRISH!

I haven't left my computer for two days, my back is killing me, I need coffee....for GOD'S SAKE woman.....WRITE!!!!!

:rotfl2: I'm writing! Oh, and if you have some vicodin for your back, take that when you read my trip report. Even the dumb parts are bound to be freakin' hilarious. :)

Nope...no Vicodan. I finally gave up and went to bed after I admitted to myself that you are a very selfish woman who only cares about herself and her OWN life...certainly not the lives of anyone on these boards :confused3

Oh well. Maybe you'll have an epiphany or a drink with Tiffany or something like that--and realize that many of us have called in sick from work, skipped school, left our children crying in their cribs...al the while waiting on YOUR report. Get a grip woman and realize who butters your bread or bombs your Jaeger or...well...I can't think of anything else.
