GRRRRRRRRR So bummed out

Late last night DH was checkin his email had one for 3 bedroom 3 bath town house at Windsor Hills for 199.00 Aug28th -Sept4th

To late for us to cancel our stay at All Star Music without payin penalty. DH had me all geared up to stay in the townhouse then tells me to late to cancel our room at the world.

63.00 cost of 1 nights stay kept me out of that townhouse GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Well it was going to cost dh a days pay too cause we was going to leave today instead of tomorrow. I still need my nails done today for the trip a good 30.00 with french tips an some mickey decor added. Believe me I will find a way to spend that 63.00 today...

NEVER again will I book a resort at the world till the last minute if the budget resorts all booked up then disney is so crowded that I would not want to be there anyway.

I feel your pain. I LOVE a good deal. Look at the positive side.. you are going to Disney tomorrow!

My next trip is not until 2012, and I do not know how I will make it.

i got daves email... too, we are waiting....arrrgggg..... patiently for the new end unit to be done...usually it's $399 to start ...cant wait to jump on that 1...all star movies compared to my own 3 bdrm and splash pool.... brand new... no crowded food court......uhhhhh

Wouldn't you still save bottom line with the condo or am I doing the math wrong? Remember that the hotel will likely add more taxes also.

If you're forced to pay for one night on property, go ahead and check in and take advantage of the EMH. You could even use their pool or whatever. You don't even need to sleep there.

Whoa.. and how does one get in FYI for deals like this that would be awesome! Or is it like a membership type of deals

Since I am hoping to find a place to stay for atleast 3 weeks and for $600 that would be great!

The $199 deal is a super last minute deal (sent out yesterday? for this week, 8/28-9/4) - they send last minute deals if they still have units available. But the regular rates are super too. You can sign up for their email alerts from Daves website, vacationcentralflorida.

Whats this about another TH being available soon? I don't recall seeing any info in emails/on the website...

Just our experience, but we had checked into the $199 rate for a different week but you must also add the $95 cleaning fee and $95 pool heat which we would have needed for our week so the total with tax was around $425. Still a great price but not enough of a savings for us to go through cancelling what we already had.
