Grrr.. why do all the promos end 6/27/07??

I need to pick a car up on 6/29 (through 7/11) for our drive down to WDW.. seems like all the promos end on 6/27...

Am I going to see any extended? or because it's approaching July 4th are they going to be stingy?

I would expect to see most of the rental companies begin offering promos beyond June 27th pretty soon. However, holiday weeks are notoriously black-out weeks for promotions. I find holiday weeks to be more expensive than the weeks around them. My best advice is to check out discounts and promos offered through retailers like Costco, BJ's Wholesale, WalMart and Sam's Club and the occasional promos offered by credit card companies. Also look at the discounts and promos at mousesavers.com. Finally, make a reservation, or two, online with the rental companies and then go back and check for changes in pricing frequently. It is not uncommon to see pricing fluctuate from day to day.

It's been my experience that car rentals follow all other things Disney...there's alot of waiting involved. We travel in Sept, and I usually end up booking a rental in August. I don't get the logic of higher prices further out but what do I know. Keep an eye on coupons/discounts and you should do OK closer to the trip.

I think thats how far they are with promos right now...

I Would not be to surprised if they didn't offer much for your time period because of the 4th of July
