Hey everyone! Posting from MCO...my 9:08 flight has been delayed to 11:15 :scared1: At least Jacka is being a real trooper and has been excellent!

We had a great time, and some truly magical experiences. I might have to do a trip report to share. Some of the highlights...Jacka getting some pixie dust, and a free toy at POTC, watching Wishes while riding Dumbo with Jacka, and getting to meet some really neat characters at meet n greets, like Mr. Potato Head and George Sanderson!

So here I sit...in Mickey pajama pants with a sunburn waiting for my plane. :goodvibes

If anyone has any questions let me know! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes
P.S. I took pictures of the fantasyland construction while on Dumbo. If anyone wants to see them I can post them. :hippie:

At least you had some lovely times to talk about:thumbsup2 When we went to WDW a few years ago our 6pm flight was put back to 8pm, then when we got to the airport (Waaaaaaaaay to early as usual:rolleyes1) it was put back again and didn't leave til gone 11. DS(11) was only 5 then, and was fine until the last 1/2 hour when he started dozing off:eek: Luckily we managed to keep him up and he fel asleep as soon as we got on the plane, then slept all the way home.

I'm glad you had fun Brandi! Sounds like you definately had some magical moments. I would LOVE to see those Fantasyland remodel pics when you have time. Welcome home.

sorry about your delay....sounds like a fun trip though, would love to hear all about it and see photos!

We finally made it home! Our flight landed just before 2 am. (Nan, I waved in your direction!) Jacka was a real tropper! He was an absolute angel in the airport...makes me feel better about all those souvies he got in WDW. :lmao:

I think I will start my trip report tomorrow.:goodvibes I only wish there was a way to make it semi-private, so that only you guys could see it. I guess I am still a little weird about putting my stuff out there.

I cannot wait to share our experiences and pictures. This trip was definately one where nothing happpened the way we thought it would. I had loose plans to meet up with several different people, but none of them happened. My uncle was supposed to take us to KSC, but he had to have urgent surgery, thankfully he is fine and doing well...but even with the changes it was a great trip.

Sorry the weather held you up - it was a bad storm we avoided it a bit but it was storming during the graduation (thankfully it was inside) and some on our drive home. Sorry we didn't get to meet up but I look forward to hearing about you trip.

Rebecca

Glad you had a fantastic time. wow, that was late getting in. I ran into a two hour flight delay Friday night. weather has been messing everything up.

Glad to hear you made it home.. You'll be glad you had a rain delay rather than a diverted landing in Atlanta because of a sensor malfunction... Mom and Dad's flight dealt with that on the 12th.. they had to get another plane for the rest of the way home... They did well..but mom was a wreck..and dad's gout started in... :(

Nan, you are right...much better to be stuck in the airport than to go through that. I hope a couple days at home have done them well. :goodvibes

They are good... Dad's been working hard as he plans to retire come DEC.... Mom is back at work and planning her scrapbook.... Thanks for asking!!!

Have you all survived the pixie dust hangover since your return?

:lmao:Yes, I think we are past the hangover. I worked a couple of days this week and while I was tired, I felt refreshed so that was great. Tuesday we were listening to DIS radio and Jacka said, "I miss Mickey!" :lovestruc It was sweet.

DH is already on the lookout for a conference for next year in CA, he wants to hit Disneyland next. :goodvibes

Glad to hear they are back to normal...and already scrapping! :thumbsup2
