Grrr... missing present!

The Christmas I was 3, my Grandfather made me a dollhouse and my Grandmother gave me ceramic dollhouse furniture. My parents decided I was too little for the delicate furniture, so they "hid" it until I was older. I asked for it many times growing up, but it was never located, although my parent's house is actually very clean and organized.

After years of looking for it, the dollhouse furniture finally turned up in the back of a closet this summer. I am 32 years old now!

Oh my -- and I thought I was bad about cleaning out closets!

I always seem to misplace Christmas gifts. I have to hide them in various "creative" places, but then I can't remember where I put them after they are wrapped. Seems like every year the gifts all get opened and then DH and I whisper to each other, "Where's the xxx?" Then I start looking and find it. The kids have now come to expect more gifts after everything is opened!

This is a yearly occurrence around here. We just found the sheets bought at Linens and Things going out of business sale....

I could have written this post, I bought two copies of Up with the coupon when they were on sale and I have lost one, I have NO idea where it is. All I know is that I left it in the bag......along with a puzzle that was supposed to be Xmas gift for dd. Hopefully it will turn up in time for her b-day.

Do you get dvd's from the library? If you do maybe you returned it with them by mistake. I know I have almost retured our own dvd's a few times if they get mixed in the pile. Always double check now.

Hope you find it :)

I managed to lose a copy of Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure on blu ray. I know we had the right number of them that we bought on release day, but one just won't turn up... I still haven't found it and ended up having to buy another copy. On the plus side, Target price matched Walmart's sale price, Disney re-released the $10 coupon, and Target had a $5 off coupon, so it only cost me $6 to replace it :-) For that price, I bought three. My mom was all excited about the prospect of having two copies of Santa Buddies if someone didn't want theirs so she could keep a set in her car. She didn't get to keep an extra since they were all claimed. Santa is going to bring her a duplicate Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure blu ray so she can have her extra copy of something she wanted... What she'll do with four copies of the same movie (2 on blu ray, 2 on DVD since each blu ray is a combo pack), I have no idea, but she seemed to want it. I think it is funny and for $6, why not?

We had Christmas with my siblings at my parent's house two weeks ago. After all the presents had been opened, I asked my sister if the sweater I had got her would fit. She had no idea what I was talking about. It never made the trip and I have yet to find it! So frustrating! Hopefully she'll get it in time for her birthday in June!

lol my kids will be getting a mickey checkers game I got 2 yrs ago at wdw for christmas this year, I lost it and just found it this year when I did our wrapping! It had dust on it lol:lmao:

I just have to ask ... Are you old enough for the furniture yet? :)

I'm missing a box of Tech Deck skateboards this year. :confused3

We had one Xmas growing up when my mom bought a play kitchen set for my lil sis. On Xmas day we asked her where it was. We searched high and low. Found it....four years later...and it wasn't a small box.

There is something to be said about not being pack rats.:rolleyes1

ETA: I also bought my neice a PS3 game on clearance before last Christmas because my Dsis was talking about buying a PS3 for DBIL. She didn't so I stuck it back because the game was cheap, it would be something she would like and I knew they would get a PS3 eventually. That game has resurfaced multiple times throughout this year, but now I can't find it to save my life. So I ended up buying her something else. Maybe she will get it for her b-day.
