He’s not in school. If I put him in the kids club at the gym, I watch the kids club channel while I’m on the treadmill. It’s equivalent to a doggy cam at doggy day care. Should people not watch those either?
I’d love cameras at school, btw. There are cameras on buses. Why not?
Let’s give parents the right to see their kids whenever they’d like to.

There are video surveillance cameras in the clubs for the exact reason that they worked in this case, they're not there so the public can view them when ever they want, again this would be a PRIVACY RIGHTS violation for the other children in the clubs.
DCL uses them for the purpose they were intended and they were able to obtain evidence that helped them identify and remove the threat! If you're that worried about who is around your children in the kids clubs just don't put them in there! This instance is a rare happening and DCL takes every precaution they can to make sure the employee's they hire are of the highest caliber that they can find. Will someone nefarious slip through? Maybe, but they do what they can to prevent it. Education of your children is also a big part of this, teach them to make noise, scream, tell another adult if ANYONE does anything to them that they're not comfortable with. Drawing attention to the situation will stop it dead in it's tracks.
