Many parents take pictures of their kids next to something at Disney and do that same picture year after year. I'd like to do something like that for my kids but I'd like ideas. Where do you get the "growing with disney" pictures done?

There are two chairs in Minnie's house that are good:

Also, behind the Contemporary there are a couple of good photo ops:

ACK! In all the years we are going, I never did this with my kids! Forty lashes with a wet noodle for me! I love the idea though and Annette_VA, you pics are too sweet! Oh well...with DD13 and DS15, I will have to start doing that now...better late than never!

We are big fans of the Andy Griffith show so every trip that we've made I take a picture of my ds, and ds with dh standing next to the Andy bust at MGM. We will be adding the youngest ds to the pictures. It is neat to see how my dh and ds's changes but Andy stays the same. :)

We always take our DD's picture on the troll in Norway. When we first went she could just sit on it's foot, now her head touches his nose.:thumbsup2

We Take a picture of DD each visit in the Wilderness Lodge by the totem pole next to the mercantile.

Very cool to see her reach each new character

When my sister and I were growing up we also took it with the Indian out front of a store in Frontierland. We took our last pic in Dec. I also got a pic when I was 6 months pregnant and when DS was 3 months old.

We do this to. We take dd's picture in front of the stained glass window in France in Epcot. We did this when she was 9 months and again when she was 18 months. Seeing the two pictures together makes me a little sad - she is growing up so fast! :sad1:
When we go in May i will be sure to do this again.

Wow, what a great idea. I have never thought of doing that even though I take tons of pics each trip. I will have to start with our upcoming trip. Thanks for the idea!

We take ours with a favorite character. DD8 started out only half as tall as Stitch. Now she is almost as tall as Stitch. It is great to look at the pics put also kind of sad...DD10 gets one with Pooh every trip. Its amazing how quickly they grow!

For those that haven't done this...take a look at your pics. I bet you have some from each trip that are in the same place or with the same character. You may have a hidden tradition!

Thanks for the suggestions! Annette VA, those are great pics! I'm glad I've given some others ideas. :) Its so cool to see kids grow taller and change yet, so nostalgic as well. Keep the ideas coming!

We have one of DS every year sitting on or beside of the goofy sitting on the bench outside of the photo shop in the MK. It's one of my favorite things to do.

I try to do one in each park. I like the umbrella in MGM, the first time my sons couldn't really reach the handle. In Epcot we do the troll in Norway. In Animal Kingdom we do the fountain by Maharajah Jungle Trek. In Magic Kingdom we do those spitting Tiki dudes in Adventureland. The kids kind of picked these places on there first trip and I try to remember to get a pic at each when we go.

I hadn't thought about it, but we have a cute pic of DD holding Goofy's hand at Pop Century Pop Jets. That'd be a cute place if you stay there often.

That is such a cute picture. Great location.

It might not be orginal, but my two year old has been obsessed with Mickey since she was about five months old *her first trip was at four months, hmm ...*

But no, each and every trip, we hit up Mickey in ToonTown. Somehow it's always ended up with just us and Mickey in the room by ourselves. The first time, Julie didn't really get it ... now she hugs and kisses him. Especially when she was tiny, I'd notice a difference each and every month, now she just looks old.

It's starting to happen with Cinderella as well. We can't walk past a princess out for pictures without Julie running over to them.
