Growing Up Disney: Show us then and now

Amazing to see changes in our families as reflected in our Disney pictures over the years. Here are some of mine, would love to see yours (don't be shy to post).

My boys, from our 2001 trip, ages 6 and 8. Our waiter at the restaurant in Italy(name escapes me). Waiter's name was Pierpaulo. He made this meal so enjoyable for the kids, they laughed SO hard.

And this last trip in Sept 2006. The boys and now 11 and 13, another very enjoyable waiter. This time it was Bill at The Flying Fish Cafe.

Ok, I think I have you ALL beat on this one! This is ME, 4 years old, at Disneyland, CA (1963):

I love it, Amy! Those are great!! How lucky you were to go to Disneyland as a child! I still haven't been there yet...

I've never been to DL either...

I finally get to go this year!!!

My girlfriend and I are taking our DD's in May~

...no way I could beat that Amy, even if I found pics from my first time at the world I was already 12...

I can't beat it, I think the first time I was their was in 66 at the ripe old age of 1. I'll have to dig and see if I can come up with pictures..

What really bugs me is that my parents expect me to remember that trip to Disney land! I was FOUR YEARS OLD!! They act really hurt when I tell them I don't remember a thing from that trip.

Of course, after that trip in 1963, I didn't set foot on Disney property again until 1981, which was my first trip to WDW with my friends - I remember they were just building Epcot back then. Didn't return to Disneyland until 2004.

We're due for a trip to WDW this summer; I'm way behind, haven't even made reservations yet! DH keeps telling me that it's soooo much cheaper to fly out of Akron, OH instead of Pittsburgh, so I'm waiting until HE makes the plane reservations before I make hotel reservations.......

OMG...if I ever waited for hubby to do this stuff we'd never get to go...

Travelzoo works for me, it's on yahoo. You put in the area and dates and it gives you multiple search engines on one page...

I guess you're too far from Allentown? If I were willing to drive to their airport I could've had some AWESOME prices out of there ... when I fly I go Philly. It's easier for me. Southwest, Spirit and Airtran seems to have the best prices.

OMG...if I ever waited for hubby to do this stuff we'd never get to go...

I know, my DH is the same way. I think I'm giving DH until the end of January and then I'M making the plane reservations or we'll never go!! We'll just suck it up and pay USAir - I like to fly down early in the morning so we have 1/2 day in the parks once we get there, and USAir is pretty good with early morning flights.

Yep, we're on the other end of the state.

Kind of sad.....this will probably be our last WDW trip for a while. Our oldest DS graduates high school in 2008, youngest is 2 years behind him, so all our money will go toward paying for college. Then again.....the high school marching band is due for a trip in spring 2008; with any luck, it'll be another trip to WDW!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Ok, enough hijacking of this thread.....back to seeing those "Growing Up With Disney" pictures! C'mon!!
