Groupon for Milford Spice Company...

Ordered on April 4, 2012 and have not received order yet. No response to several phone calls trying every single extension option they have, no response to emails directly or through their website, complained with better business bureau who they summarily ignored as well and BBB basically said, that's it, sorry, case closed.
Despicable business practice that had the audacity to offer me a special on a second order when they haven't shipped the first one yet.
Not to mention I edited my order so that no spice on my order was listed as 'back ordered'. Despite exhausting every option except driving up there I have am left with my money, for all intent purposes, stolen and ignored by this sorry excuse of a company



I haven't bought any Groupons in several months.....it has to be a really really really spectacular deal now to entice me as too many of them have turned sour lately.

The headache is just not worth it anymore. I've been able to get refunds so I haven't lost money, but the fact is that my time and sanity are worth more than the few that have gone smoothly. I've been reading articles lately about Groupon (and company's like them, such as Living Social, Deal Chicken and so on) are seeing a downturn and the "experts" believe that it is almost near the end of this particular type of deal. Too many small company's are losing money (or barely breaking even) in the pursuit of what they're told should be repeat business....but most of us apparently don't return again, lol. I know I've felt that way many times....yeah the dinner at the place was good, but now that I'd have to pay full price, eh, maybe not....let's look on Groupon et al for the next half price meal, lol. I've talked to a number of business owners who have expressed the same....loads of business with the coupons where the owner barely meets costs, but not so much the next phase of loyal full paying customers.

Anyway....if you haven't already, contact Groupon and let them know what has happened. Stay civil, because Groupon isn't the company that hasn't delivered....but they should make it right, because they haven't yet paid the company that wronged you, so they should cancel the Groupon and refund you. After all, their reputation is definitely on the line too.....and by their own deeds but because they sold us the coupon and we haven't been able to use it as promised. You've tried for 7 months....a whole lot longer than I ever would have!
