Has anyone here (aside from me) ever been a groupie for a band?
What band was it and how badly did you behave?

Never been a groupie, although I would have really, really liked to have been one ! (Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix - showing my age)

Goody two shoes here, wouldn't have done anything I couldn't tell my mom. I was not really a groupie, but a friend of mine and former coworker is the lead singer for a band named Kill Creek. He is a really nice guy so I paid to see him when he was in town.

If you mean an obsessed fan of the band with posters all over my room, every record they made and went to every concert within a reasonable distance.. yes.

If you mean the type that hung out and slept with all the members of the band and catered to their every needs.. ummm EWW. NO

Groupie can be whatever you want it to be...though in my mind a groupie is a girl who winds up backstage and anything else is just an obsessed fan...

Can't say that I have. I'll be willing to admit that I wouldn't have hesitated to be Jon Bon Jovi's groupie (waaayyy back when).

No, not a groupie, but if you started a thread entitled "Posers" I would be the first to respond.

Many of my friends were wannabe groupies, but we were way too young and naive to actually do anything about it.
