I have just finished treatment for cancer; my strength and endurance aren't the best, so I've rented a scooter from Walker Mobility for our week at Disney. I'm somewhat immunocompromised, and I need to stay out of the sun as much as possible. My dd8 is high functioning autistic/asperger's syndrome with some significant auditory defensiveness thrown in. (Also going with us is ds17 and one of my sisters).

This is the first trip to WDW for my dd, their first plane ride, etc. etc. (I haven't been to WDW since 1997). I know about obtaining a GAC card, taking rest breaks during the day, I have ear protection for my dd, etc. , but am looking for any additional nuggets of wisdom from others who have "been there, done that".

Thanks in advance!
