Group Ticket Exchange or Upgrade?

My DS is on his senior class trip at WDW right now. They all got a 4-day park hopper pass as part of the trip, however, he already had an annual pass, so we were hoping to save the 4-day pass and use it on another trip. HOWEVER, when he got the pass, it says on the back valid 3/3/11/ through 3/21/11. It must be a special ticket that they give to groups?

Does anyone know if there's a way we can keep the value of this ticket somehow beyond the expiration date (since it's never been used) or is this a lost cause?

Sorry. This is a YES Program ticket and cannot be upgraded or modified in any way. At 00:00:01 on March 22 the value goes to zero.
