Group Airline Rates

I will be booking 11 round trip tickets on Continental from Newark to Orlando. I noticed on their website there is a group rate for 10 or more tickets.

Has anyone ever done this? Do you get a good deal or are you better off just resreving the tickets the normal way?

It seems simple enough to simply call the airline and ask them what the rate would be. I would assume that whether or not this is a good deal depends on the airline and the flight.
