and that is never good. She has recently started eating things other than food(which I believe is because I was bragging on here that she didn't do that)

But back to the grossness.
What did she throw up??
An inch tall storm tropper and a sock.

Eeew.

When our cat was a kitten, she loved bologna and would eat the little red stringy things that used to come around it it. After we found poop-on-a-rope in her litterbox a few times, we learned to put the garbage where she can't get to it.

I know what you mean by grossness!! My lab eats her poop despite the pills we give her that are suppose to deter her from doing that!! She also eats hair elastics, paper, plastic, or anything else that falls on the floor. It is really becoming an issue and the clean up when she throws it back up is horrible!!

I am at a loss as to what to do next..............any suggestions?

I have no ideas. Lola used to be so lazy that she wouldn't bother eating anything but food. Lately though she is eating anything and everything.

On the poop eating I did hear that it might be food related- what are you feeding your lab?
I can't imagine what it would be that would make a dog think "hey that looks mighty tastey"

Last week she ate a dvd. well half of it- before I got it out of her mouth. It's like having a baby all over again. If she is too quiet I have to hunt her down and see what she is doing.
didn't someone post a lab message board on here recently- maybe they might be able to help us!

I always say our Labs should worship at the Altar of Hoover for it is only the Mighty Hoover that allows them to live! I swear, if I wasn't able to clean asap, these two would have been sleepin' outside ages ago! :lmao:

Here is Lilly(5):

I just realized I don't have a good pic of Belle(2), probably because she is always looking for something to chew on!

I think "dog proofing" your house should be similar to baby proofing. Having a dog is like having a perpetual 2 year old. Kids eventually learn what not to put in their mouths, unfortunately dogs never do, and depend on us to keep them out of harms way.

As the mama of 3 rescue furbabies, if it's on the floor, it's fair game!

:rotfl: Sorry, I'm sure it wasn't too funny to you. I've heard that labs chew everything, but I guess now I know for sure.

I have a Shepherd. He doesn't eat things around the house (except for any food my kids leave down at snoot level for him), but for some strange reason when he "helps" in the garden he eats rocks and dirt and bark, and then throws it up for me. Shepherds can make an impressively large pile of yak. Yuk. :scared:

My cats are the chew-happy ones in the house. They maul my plants, chew plastic bags, and one of them has a Barbie fettish. She has destroyed several.
