All this talk of grooms gifts has got me thinking :surfweb:

DF :lovestruc ToT... is there anything I can do for him or we can do together that has to do with ToT? :confused3 I saw a tour group in there once, but I think that was part of the big behind the scenes tour (that 7 hour deal), and he's already said he wants to save that for a time when we're by ourselves later this year when things aren't so hectic. I already asked WC if we could do a photo shoot and she said the closest we can get is out on the street... do you know if they give tours of just TOT? I've seen aerial shots of picnic tables up on top of the building -- can you rent a spot for lunch or something? OMG I have no idea, but I was hoping the ever vast knowledge of the DIS could help me think of something REALLY cool!! :hyper:

I :lovestruc TOT!!!

They really won't let you get your pictures closer?? Not even in the queue in the garden. That's disappointing.

I was thinking of getting a family shot of every on in the TOT for myself. I saw someone else had a HTH robe with their names embroidered on it for their wedding party.

There was this Animation Cell last year of Mickey in the TOT. It had a pin if you purchased it framed. I thought it was pretty bad*$$.

Yeah - DF is SO excited, he wants to fill a whole elevator car with guests! I think my 80 y/o grandma might get a pass, but DF keeps teasing my father about it...:rotfl:

Alissa, honestly I can't help with ToT specific gifts. BUT I got my DH a framed Disney Stock and he loved it. And he is a huge ToT fan.

You are right what you saw is the Backstage Magic tour. They spend very little time at TOT and really just show you the ride vehicle. For anything special you may have seen are corporate events or people's wedding.

Ideas - 1) You could buy him the bathrobe. 2) Buy food at the park and make a picnic outside of it. 3) Do a groom's cake for him to be served at the reception or rehearsal dinner that looks just like the TOT. That would be a great groom's gift and a really neat surprise.
