We're coming into MCO and staying at Shades of Green. We'll be getting in around 2:30. I've got 11 in my party and I've put out the word to have your list ready so we don't spend all day at the store.
but we've stopped at a Publix on our way from the Kissimmee train station and right next door is an alcohol store, great for us. We have also stopped at the Sam's Club on other trips from Kissimmee, these I guess are all on Rt. 192 and we had our pre-made shopping lists and tore through the store like Grant took Richmond to get to WDW as quick as possible. The Sams Club in Kissimmee has the attached alcohol store just like home, very convenient, one stop shopping. We do the pop, beer, wine alcohol buggy and others do the snacks and the rest sandwich fixing for pool picnics. We stay deluxes so we have the fridge but we also have a collapsible cooler we keep filled with ice, don't forget the zip bags, we use them for the ice, easy to dump and change and keeps the cooler dry plus for putting leftovers in.
To us nothing beats home-made sandwiches and a few beers or a glass of wine our at the pool, we do the wine pool deal late at night after returning from the park to rest the tired legs a nd nerves, makes for a relaxing nights sleep.

I would use GardenGrocer.com and have your food delivered. We did this last June and it was fabulous! Other than that there is Goodings near DTD and not far from that is a Winn-Dixie. I have also food shopped at the Super-Walmart, but I don't remember how to get there. I would tell everyone to make a list and then do an order with Garden Grocer.
I'd say just order from gardengrocer.com. You can set up the order ahead and even request alcohol from them. They were awesome, reasonably priced and left our stuff at the hotel desk. It was perfect!
Is alcohol real expensive from Garden Grocers? Here in NH it's inexpensive compared to surrounding states. I'll check Garden Grocers and decide about ordering it or maybe shipping some down in a care package. I thought I read somewhere that you can send yourself a package. Has anyone done that?
