grocery stores?

We're going to Disney in less than 2 weeks and staying at Old Key West. We are planning to get groceries off-site like our previous trip. However, the last time the groceries at goodings cost the same as at the hotel. Which grocery stores would you recommend for a good deal.

I found that the grocery store in Walmart SuperCenter was cheaper than those at Publix. Anyone else?

I agree with Super WalMart. It's a little farther away, but totally worth the drive. Plus you can stock up on other things you need or forgot to pack.

There is one on Rt. 192 east...off of Rt. 4 in Kissimmee. Anbody know of any others near the main gates?

The one in Kissimmee is 8 miles away and is located at 4444 West Vine, if you go to mapquest.com and put in the address and then put in the driving from address as your resort, you will get pretty decent directions there. This is the closest Walmart. Another location which is 9 miles away is 8101 South John Young Parkway. Hope this helps.

If you are flying you should be able to get on the John Young Parkway and get your groceries on the way to OKW. I also used the WinnDixie just down the road from DD. If you come out hotel plaza as if going to Goodings take a left and it is a short distance up on the right. Prices were pretty good and it is not as far as the Walmart Superstores. Walmart has had the best prices I have seen though. Definitely do a map thing from the Walmart site where it shows store locator. or from yahoo maps. The one on 192 is next to Midevil Times. Good luck = We stil have about six weeks before we are doing the same thing.
