Grocery Stores near disney

I will have transportation (rental car) and would like to do some grocery shopping outside of disney resort. What grocery stores are relatively near by? Do they have those bonus cards that I need to apply for?

There is a Publix right off site. I plan on stopping there on our trip. The prices are supposed to be real good. I don't have personal experience though. Do not go to Groodings in DTD.

Since our flight is getting in towards evening, the towncar place told me they would stop at Albertsons. It sounds like a bigger grocery store. I went on their website and they have a shoppers card you can get. Only took about a week to arrive in the mail.

There is a new Super Target opening in Kissimee in October, 2004. Not sure when your trip is - I've heard there will be a Disney store inside as well! Yippee!

This store will be closer to the parks than the Super Wal-Mart that is in Kissimee.

There is also a Winn Dixie by dd. Go past dd disney (like heading to I4) and the hotels past dd (Grovesner, tc) until you come to the "Crossroads" (there is a McDonalds on the corner), turn left and go down 3 lights. Winn Dixie is on the right. Much closer to any grocery store on 192.

Winn Dixie also provides bonus cards. I sent away for one last week for my trip in Ocotber. They post their weekly sales on their web-site. I plan on having breakfast in my hotel the majority of the days I am on vacation, if no good sales planned for my arrival, I will bring my own.
