Grocery Stores close to the VGF

There is a Publix north of MK that is close and easy to get to. Navigation systems often do not send you through the non Public area of MK, but as a guest on property you can use it. Turn right (north) out of VGF/GF onto Florida Way. Then turn north on Center Drive from Florida Way and then right on Reams Rd. You actually access the shopping from the off Reams Road instead of Winter Garden Vineland Road. The CM's will also give you instructions to this market. We used it when we stayed at BLT as well as at VGF.

We've used this store as well. By far, the most convenient.

It depends on how much you need. You can get the basics in the store at GF. You will pay twice as much but the cost of a taxi would offset that. If you are buying a lot and want variety, then the taxi to the market would be an option. You can also look at a grocery delivery service, many people have used garden grocer.

When we were at VGF, I was surprised that the market store had only two frozen entrees, one of which was macaroni and cheese. Since we stay in a studio, microwave items are about the only thing we cook, when we are tired of eating out.

There is a super Wal-Mart about fifteen minutes from Disney. Prices are a lot cheaper there. Very easy to get to and Disney souvenirs are reasonable.
