I am heading down to the World in a few weeks and was going to pick up some groceries for the room. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good grocery store near Disney?

I will have a car.

Thanks!

Go to Google Maps and enter Publix near 32830 to find the location of all the Publix near Walt Disney World. Click on the one you want and get directions.

This same tip works for just about anything. Want to know the nearest Pizza place? Just substitute Pizza for Publix. How about Walmart? Same thing.

There is also a Winn-Dixie that is very close to WDW.

... go to DTD and travel down Hotel Plaza Blvd. At the Signal turn left onto
RT535. Get into the right lane and continuing going straight past two traffic signals.

The Winn-Dixie will be on your right, there is an ABC liquor store in the same parking lot, when you see that you're there.

We really like the Publix on 192. If you come out of the Sherberth Rd exit over by the Animal Kingdom Park you just take a right onto 192 and drive maybe 2 miles.

It seems we hit them all on this trip, but right across from the Publix on 192 mentioned above, is a Super Target. Of the 3 grocery stores we hit on this trip, this is my fave. The prices seemed a bit more "normal"...not so inflated by its proximity to wdw. Also, you are not paying premium grocery store prices for stuff like sunscreen, diapers and the like. The easiest way to get there if you have any trouble is to just follow the signs to AK on Osceola, but pass the park entrance. Turn left on Sherberth, right on 192 and follow that past the Chick fil a and it will be on your left.

That is where we go. We ate at the Olive Garden right across from that Publix and had one of our best OG meals ever there. Throw in a trip to Target and we are happy campers. :goodvibes

Whatever you do, do NOT go to Goodings!!! It is terrible, dirty and overpriced from my trip last September.

Take your car and go to Publix!
