Grocery storage 1 day before check in?

Super crazy ask - arrive Wed & staying 1 night at AAM & then moving to AKL Kidani on Thursday.
I would love to grocery shop on Wed instead of Thursday - but how would storage work? I know I might not get past the guard shack at AKL 1 day early. Other ideas?

I'd just plan on ordering your delivery for your arrival date - or if you're doing it yourself just go once you know you have the room (I get it takes time away from the parks, but you make your choices - grocery shopping or Disney IMHO). Not only could you likely not store it before staying there, they will NOT transfer perishables from one place to another.

I believe that all the Disney resorts have cold food storage available at Luggage Assistance/Bell Services. I don’t know whether they would store things you couldn’t fit in the room fridge overnight while you had a room there, though.

I would imagine perishables will fall under the same for you transferring it yourself - they will not be responsible for them.

As I said, I would not count on bell services accepting perishables.

You can choose your delivery date. If you want your groceries to go to the place you are staying on your second night than just arrange for that delivery date to that venue. This past September our preferred grocery service only delivered in the afternoon due to road construction so we had our groceries delivered the night before our arrival. We did have to verify that we had the delivery confirmation text because the knee-jerk response was they had no delivery for us that day (and they were correct as it was delivered the previous day).

Ah. Honestly I'm not sure I'd trust them to store either. Of course if I take any food with me it's protein bars and so forth as I don't go on vacation to cook, so I don't have to deal with them anyway.

We stayed at BWI back in July & used Garden Grocer for our grocery delivery. They only deliver to BWI after 4:00pm so we had them delivered the day before we arrived so we'd have our groceries as soon as our room was ready. They stored everything (perishables included) overnight-worked like a charm.

Unless something has changed, they would store perishables at bell services. Check out of one, move to the other one and leave things at bell services until your room is ready.

Update - worked just fine - I had all of the perishables in a large soft cooler bag. They stored it all night for me at ASMo. I transported it to AKL Kidani this morning.
