We have ME- but thought we might go to a store - get snacks, drinks , milk, cereal- wouldn't it be cheaper to just get a cab than do a town car for $109 RT- plus tip- we are staying at Beach Club but I hear prices at marketplace are very high- we might can bring some things from home- I realize there's a hess station nearby but lugging it back to BC in Late July may not be worth it-maybe a town car one way from airport may work and take ME back to airport-

You can get groceries delivered to your resort. I used Gooding's (www.goodings.com), and others on this board have used WeGoShop (www.wegoshop.com) and Garden Grocer (www.gardengrocer.com). Gooding's is a supermarket that offers delivery for a $10 flat fee on a $50 minimum order. The listings on their website are very limited, but they will deliver anything they stock on their shelves EXCEPT alcohol. WeGoShop and Garden Grocer are stand-alone delivery services that will shop anywhere you ask them to. I'm not certain about their fees and minimums, but from what I read they are OK with delivering alcohol as part of your order.

I loved Gooding's and had great service from them. The most convenient thing about Gooding's was that you don't need to schedule delivery. They deliver to your resort's Bell Services (BS), not directly to you. BS calls you, and if you're not in your room, NO PROBLEM, they leave you a message to call them, and then they store your groceries, even keeping the cold stuff cold for you. You call them back when you get the message and then they'll bring your stuff to you.

And, if you decide to use a town car service only one way so you can do the grocery stop, be sure to check with town car service first. I just booked FL Tours on-line from MCO to Beach Club and put in the notes that I may need a stop (guests with us might want some beverages). I got an email back that they do not do the complementary grocery stop on one way transfers.

We will just pick up the few things we need at the Beach Club Marketplace...the price difference between the Marketplace and a local grocery store isn't enough to us to spend the time and money to take a taxi.

Most of the towncar services only offer a free grocery stop with a R/T reservation. Renting a car for a day, either at WDW or at MCO with a drop off at WDW will be cheaper.

Wegoshop will probably cost you less. I think it's something like $17 for a $100 order and $22 for up to $200.
