Grocery delivery?

Can a Canadian walk me through a grocery delivery - what app do you use, how far in advance do you order, is alcohol available? (For delivery to a deluxe result). I tried to do an order on my last trip and it did not work.

We used Walmart. Ordering was fairly easy but paying more challenging. Was eventually able to get payment to go through using a Costco MC. PC Financial MC was a no-go.

We have used Instacart a few times with success (And with a PC MC just to provide a data point). It's more expensive than alternatives like Walmart, but we have never had any issues with payment going through, and you can go to multiple stores in the same order. Alcohol can be purchased, but be aware that if you do so the order can't be left with Bell Services as they need to take a photo of your ID. I've always justified the cost because it's cheaper than anything on property even if it's more than I'd ordinarily pay for those items at home. We use it mostly for breakfast items, water, juice and snacks.

We've used instacart with Publix for the past few years and twice in the last couple of weeks. Highly recommend. Just make sure you leave your full name in the delivery instructions so your driver can tell bell services knows who the delivery is for

We have used Walmart for our last three trips. We ordered alcohol each time. We just had to be there when it was delivered to show our ID. We used a TD Visa to pay and had no issues at all. I placed the order from home on my computer before we left home and picked a delivery time. Each time they have been on time with our delivery.
