Grocery Delivery?

Couldn't you just pack an inexpensive knife & cutting board? As long as it is in checked baggage a knife should be fine...I think.

We don't check luggage, so can't do that..we just bring our carry ons.

I looked on the site and found paper/plastic items, but no "real" knives. You could try e-mailing them to see if it would be possible to purchase one with your order. I have also heard that Wego shop can pick up miscellaneous items that you might need from Walmart or where ever you prefer that they shop. I have never used them, but they receive very good reviews from people that have.

You should be able to borrow one from room service/ bell services- a steak knife type. save the money lol!

I would recomend wegoshop.com . Marge is fantastic. We have used her 8 times in the last 3 years with fantastic results. You can request specfic brands, stores, etc.. She also meets delivery time requests and is reasonably priced espically compared to Disneys service. If need be she will also levave the groceries with bell services.

How far in advance do you make the request for groceries? Going in October this year, so how far out would I make a list?

We have used Garden Grocer, and will be using them again this trip. Was so pleased with them and their selection!

I called and asked this question. The thing I like about GG is that their website allows you to start building a list, and you can come back to it time and time again until you're ready to purchase. When I called and asked about timing, they told me the earlier the better. We're going down during spring break this year (April 10 - 17), and I purchased my groceries on 1/18. There's a contact number so if you ever need to change something, you can reach them.

Lastly, be careful if you're traveling during peak times. I have seen them post on their site that they cannot deliver on certain dates because those dates are full. It's usually really close to the date, though, not weeks in advance.
