Grocery Delivery to VBR?

How's the food at VBR restaurants? Will gardengrocer.com or any other service deliver groceries to rooms?

Restaurants onsite are very good (actually have gotten much better over the last 4 years) but are a bit $$.

Orchid Pizza ( 1 min walk) is very good.

As far as garden grocer never tried it but there is a grocery store 5 mins away. Don't remember the name I just go there!

I don't think gardengrocer will deliver to VB. Their delivery area (as shown on their website) does not include the resort's zip code.


There is a new Publix and a Wal-Mart Supercenter (both on US 1) that are very close to the resort.

We used gardengrocer.com this past March during our stay at Boardwalk Villas. They were wonderful. Within 30 minutes of checking in our refrigerator was full with fresh fruits, veggies, snacks and drinks. Brian, the owner, personally delivered our order. He even informed us that if we needed an additional order during the week to call him and there would be no additional delivery fee. (The fee was $10 with a $50 minimum order; much less than the cost of us renting a car!). He mentioned that they were expanding too. He also said that they delivered to all of the Disney resorts so maybe there was a glitch on their website when MissD looked at it Gardengrocer was wonderful and I'm looking forward to using their services again in October when we are there..

I hope you're right and it was just a glitch sort of thing, but in looking at their delivery map, it doesn't go (or include) as far south as Indian River County, where Vero Beach is. I know they deliver to all the resorts on WDW property-and I'm looking forward to ordering when we go to BWV later this month.

Could it just be a confusion between 'all Disney resorts' meaning those on WDW property vs all Disney resorts period?

We'd never need to move the car until check-out

What are the food options for small kids at VB. We are thinking of a trip there next year with a 2 year old and a 1 year old so fine dinning is not in the card for us.

Dining options are Shutters ( You could even do Sonya's) Green Cabin Room and room service for onsite options.

A couple of offsite options are Squid Lips and Capt Hirams.
