I am going to be staying at the BWV in August and I have heard that some people use online grocery delivery services to get their food sent there. Has anyone used any of these services and which websites have you used.

Thanks to all !! :rotfl2:

Hello:) We tried wegoshop.com (which i found on these boards) they were wonderful! I've also heard of gardengrocer.com, we have not tried them but all the great people here say they are good. They both charge a fee. We don't mind because the food arrives when we do and we are set for vacation:goodvibes :goodvibes plus I hate the chore of grocery shopping so the delivery fee was worth every cent. I think it was 17 dollars and our grocery bill was 240. Our list was a little too long:lmao: but now I know what I can trim for next time! Have a wonderful vacation and a safe trip.:) :)

We've used gardengrocer 3 years in a row. Excellent produce. We received everything we ordered. (Eggs weren't broken:) ) Also, if there is something you'd like but don't see it on their web page, you can ask for it and they'll deliver it. We did that for fruit that wasn't on their last. Highly recommend them. :thumbsup2

I hope you have a wonderful vacation.

We've used Garden Grocer as well and loved it!! When we go next month we plan to use them again. I did read on these posts that they will deliver alcohol even though its not on their website. You need to contact them by phone and fax an id. I say yippeee! :rotfl2:

We used wegoshop.com for the first time for our January trip and were very satisfied with the service. We only had a small order ($80 or so total) and the delivery was $17 plus a 5% gratuity that was tacked on (which kinda surprised me) but it still very worthwhile. We most likely will go that way again next time (even if we have a rental car, which we didn't this trip)...it's pretty nice to have bell services deliver your groceries rather than carting them up on your own!

We used Garden Grocer in January. Everything had already been delivered when we arrived and was waiting at Bell Services. We had them brought up with our luggage. We were there when they were having record breaking cold temperatures, so we were verrrry grateful to be able to eat in as much as possible. I think that there was a $12 delivery fee, but delivery is free if the order is over $200. I would highly recommend them.

I was so happy that this question was being asked. I have been wondering the same thing. We usually do a grocery stop with the service we take from the airport, but we thought we would save the money we would spend on the limo service and use Magical Express instead and use one of these shopping services for our groceries. It will be cheaper to do that even though there is a service charge and it's also a time saver for us.

How much in advance of your trips do you arrange an order?

I usually do it 6 weeks before we leave, only because I go by what we ordered last year and pretty much have it down to a science. I believe they accept orders 48 in advance, unless the day you select is full and they're not making any more deliveries.
