Grocery Deliveries using a Cdn. credit card as payment

Hi,

I am trying to find to find the best option for ordering groceries for delivery to WDW resort?

I was excited to place an order on the Walmart Grocery site because the prices were fairly good and so many of the products were familiar. But when I went to set up payment, there wasn't an option for a Canadian billing address. I called Walmart and it seems only U.S credit cards are accepted.

So then I checked out Garden Grocer, and they do accept Canadian credit cards and Paypal, but the prices are incredibly high and the choices not nearly as good.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help you can offer. :)

I’m not sure if it’s the same issue, but I had to use the zip code “hack” when ordering groceries from Vons for Disneyland. You take the 3 numbers from your postal code and add 00 to the end and the payment should go through. For example “V2M 4N5” would be 24500. Hope that helps!

When we were coming from the UK Garden Grocer was the only one that would accept our cards… This last time around they were close to NYC bodega prices (if that makes sense) but still reasonable on some of our baby supplies.

youngdeb12, I have never heard of doing that. It might be worth a try. Thank you!

What about using a Walmart gift card?
SaraMc, Unfortunately gift cards aren't accepted either. This is what the site says..."The store you chose doesn't accept cash, ATM cards, gift cards, EBT cards and PayPal"

Amazon also delivers groceries at WDW and will let you pay with a Canadian card.
Marc D, I think I would have to open up a U.S. Amazon Prime to have groceries delivered to WDW, wouldn't I?

I used Publix Instacart during our trip this past New Years, using the credit card "hack" in post #2. Much cheaper than Garden Grocer.

I have spent the last hour or so creating an order on Prime Now (Amazon). It created two carts for me (one for Amazon and one for Whole Foods), but I can't access the Amazon cart. It just shows the total items and the total price, but I can't see the itemized list of items and I can't checkout of the Amazon cart, only the Whole Foods. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks again for any help!

You could activate the free 30-days try. In any case, I thought that Amazon Fresh was available in WDW but it seems it is not. Unless all you want if packaged food, there are better options.

So I believe I found a solution. I called our credit card company and they changed our billing address to the U.S. location I want the groceries shipped to. I will change the address back to our personal address in a few days. :) I guess this is common.

Amazon Prime Now is available to WDW resorts, which has perishibles from both Amazon and Whole Foods.
