Grocery Coupon Train~

The trip was good; I'm working on pictures now! It started out warm, then it was really cold, and then of course it warmed up again on Saturday, when we left. We had to snow blow to get into our driveway too :/ Crowds were really light too, except for the first weekend, while the marathon was going on, and then we went to MK on Saturday before we left, and it was really busy there too.

Good, I'm glad you had a fun time! I have a friend there at MK today. 2 other friends that live in Orlando & Naples, checked themselves into POR for girls weekend getaway, they aren't doing any parks, just DTD and relaxing. Uuugh, having major withdrawals! I'm hoping we go this August!

I just realized I've been spelling your town wrong. I think I've been leaving the second "T" out. Oh well, at least they are still getting there. This one is wrong also, as I've already packaged it up ready to go out tomorrow. Next week, I will get it right!

Anyone know if I subscribe to paper if I will get all my inserts?

I only got 1 insert in my paper also (P &G). I used to subscribe to the paper, sometimes I wouldnt get all of the inserts. I think its just hit or miss!

Strange thing happened last weekend. My paper had only one insert with a handful of coupons. DH was over at his mom's this week and she asked if I was still "clipping" and handed him a stack that was in her paper!

I will be mailing out a big envie with Jenna's, MIL's and this weekend's tomorrow!

Welcome to the train! I subscribe to both newspapers in the Twin Cities and seem to always get my inserts in both of them. Sometimes the machines that collate the sections of the paper get a little generous and I get double or triple of one of the inserts. Just like Christmas! It seems crazy but the St. Paul inserts are different from the Minneapolis inserts. Minneapolis has much better coupons (weird since St. Paul is a much better city! ) Getting back to your question.... I once read that subscribers are always supposed to get the inserts with whatever quantity is available. Then if there are more left over after subscribers get them, they go to the various grocery stores, convenience stores, etc. Now I can't remember if the little boxes on street corners are the third to be supplied with inserts or if it's the other way around with supplying them to the stores.

(If anyone else is reading this and wondering why I can't remember where my post office is it's because I'm out of town. I do remember where the post office is back home! )

I sent out two envies to you. Also I just wanted to add to the coupon inserts discussion that I have bought so many papers to find no inserts once I got home so I now go to Wal-mart and I will look through the papers to make sure my coupons are there. Sometimes I have to go through about 4-5 papers to find all my coupons inserts in one paper. The Wal-mart greeter knows me by know and smiles at me everytime I am in there. I have been come the crazy coupon lady.
