Laneychris,

Good Morning!!!! Your 2 envies are being mailed today. I thoroughly checked expiration dates. There are a few expiring on November 16th. Just a heads up.

That is super fantastic!!!!!!!:cool1: :woohoo: Thank you also for what you have sent and of course, everyone else. Can't wait to see what arrives. The coupons actually help keep me in the loop for what products are available in America. Some of this stuff I have never seen before and upon the next trip, they are on the shelf :thumbsup2

When I was dropping off 2 huge bundles of coupons Friday a lady noticed what I was doing. She thanks you all profusely for the time and consideration. She was desperate for diaper coupons. While looking for those, she found many others she could use. Made her happy. She thanked me, but I told her I was just the delivery person. So, I am just passing the message. You all get the credit. All I do is sort the coupons. Those bins are really looking good!

I feel awesome just sharing them with you all! Like a pp said, it makes you feel good to know you are in some small way helping out. And if there are certain items that you all use over there all the time, I have NO problem sending you extras of that item even if it isn't an expired coupon! Just let me know.

Any chance you can post a pic of the coupon bin? Would love to see how this works over there. Is it like mail slots where its divided by category or just one big box of them?

:woohoo: I'd like to see it too.

Kidnurse: Your envie is on the way. I took it to the post office this morning. Hope you enjoy Meredith!

OK I have been reading what everyone is saying about the christmas cards. Honestly, I dont see what the difference is weither you post who you sent to or not. Reason being, well, if you never get a card it means you got left out. :confused3 I just dont see what the difference it makes. But if it makes you all feel better, dont post who you sent to. If you like, send them a PM. Just to clarify, you DO NOT have to send to everyone. It would be nice if you could. I can understand cutting back. DH and I are to cutting back. Which is why I said send to whoever you wish. If you only wanna send to 1 person, fine. Box cards arent that expensive. You can get them from walmart or wherever for a couple dollars. The most expensive part would be the stamps. At $0.42 per card for 70 people would be $29.40. You can send to whoever you like. However, I do recommend that if you get a christmas card in the mail, please return the gesture and send them a card. It would only be fair really. Thanks!

*For those who wish to send to everyone, I suggest that you start to purchase the cards and stamps now. That way you are not bombarded with having to spend a lot of money on cards and stamps all at once. You have all of November and December to send them. You will probably find spreading the cost out over the next few weeks will help you purchase everything you need for the cards.

As far as posting it I will not be posting if I send out cards. Also if I do send one to someone I do not want them to feel they need to send one in return.
Just so you understand also the cost can be huge on some people to add more to what they send out already. A box of cards may not cost a lot but it all adds up.
I am speaking from knowing. DH has been out of work for 9 months. His unemployment runs out in a couple of weeks. I have been out of work for medical since the end of June. So 30 dollars more in my budget hurts.
So please see this from all sides.

I understand. But if its gonna hurt your budget to much, then why even bother signing up? People, please do not do this if its gonna put to much of a strain on your budget. Its just cards. Your family needs need to come first. Why am I getting the feeling this is turning into a bad idea? :confused3

From here on out, if you can not afford to send cards out, please DO NOT PM me and asking to join. Look into your budget first before signing up. Thanks.

I do not think it is a bad idea. What I am saying is to do everyone on the list can be costly. I did not sign up for anything. I was looking for some of the address.
You are taking this way to personally IMO.

I will be mailing out my envie in the morning.
Sleepy I have some for you also.

I have mentioned several times, you do not have to send to everyone. Where are you getting that you have to send to everyone? Theres nothing personal about this. Its a simple concept. You send to whoever you want. If you wanna send a card to 1 person or to everyone, whatever works for you. I have NEVER stated that you have to send to everyone. I was just simply saying dont sign up to the card exchange if you cant afford it. If you can only afford to send cards to the people who you normally send to, then its obvious that you cant afford to send to the people on the train. Then its obvious not to sign up. Why sign up for the card exchange if you arent gonna be in it?

Lexntaysmom - your envie went out this morning - it's a big one. Hope there's lots in there you can use.

My last statement on this is.
You posted if someone sends to you you need to return one to them. That is one of the issuse I find unfair to people. So for everyone If I send you a card please do not feel that you need to send one in return.

Shirley....I received an envelope from you over the weekend. Thanks :goodvibes

Ok, let's put this to rest right now. Even if someone did not sign up for the exchange you suggested that they still send to the person that sent them a card, you said it would only be fair. I think maybe that is what Kellie is referring to as well. :confused3 That perhaps, some that don't want to send will be forced to just by receiving a card.
To let everyone know, your grown adults, if you want to send cards, please do. If you don't, no one is obligated to send any at all.
We all get along in this group...let's keep it that way please. Moving on.....
