Today I went to the store, purchased 4 items. Two gallons of milk at $1.99 each, 2 bags of Halloween candy at $1.88 each.

my cost was $3.24.
I had a dollar off the candy and $3.50 off total order that I got from a previous trip when I purchased fruit roll ups. Ok, so the clerk, swore it was wrong. She kept saying my milk was not on there. I tried to tell her it was and that if she "thought" about it I was only paying .50 cents for the milk! She didn't understand that, so I'm showing her the coupons that she has laid out and that she has already scanned, and that have already come off the ticket. She looks at the $3.50 and said "well you didn't get any General Mills stuff". OMG, seriously, I freakin know that! It says 3.50 off your NEXT ORDER courtesy of GM, the register is RIGHT, let me pay my bill. She just couldn't comprehend it.
So she cancelled the order, tried again, same total comes up...then she gets on the phone to call a manager. I'm in her ear saying your not really thinking, it was just under $8 regular priced, I had $4.50 in coupons so it should be just under $3.50 total....then she looks at the register and says "well, it says $3.24".....BINGO.....yes, that is what I owe....you ding bat!

While DDIL is deployed to Iraq I get the be the runner for everything. Today dentist gave us the news "Set up appointment with orthodontist" for grandaughter. Her Mom and Dad are going to love that!
