Oh Yea Corrina !! I LOVE Pear Drops and you cannot get them over here!! I did get some from a gal on another thread in trade for TFW lanyards and they didn't last long !!I too love Weetabix, and Marmite which my family calls TARmite !! They love yorkshires and shepherds pie and some like Trifle !! I also make sausage rolls !! How about pork pies and Branstan pickles !! Oh Lord they are going to think we're loosing it !!
Where in England were you stationed ? I wlived very near both Mildenhall and Lakenheath!!

OMG, how could I not mention sausage rolls! My mom makes the BEST ones ever! She also makes trifle, and everyone that has never seen it (she makes it for the kids birthdays), they always ask...."what's that?" But they all love it. I have to tell you that I love sausage rolls. She made a whole bunch this year for Christmas and they did not last long. Yummy!!!!

The first time I was there we were stationed at Upper Heyford, but that base has been closed for quite some time now I think. But it would have been open when you were there. Then the second time we were at Lakenheath! I went to Lakenheath Elementary School for 2-4 grade. We didn't live on base at either of those locations. We actually lived in base housing but they were in the villages. All of my family (grandma, aunts, uncles & cousins) live in Peterborough. That is where my mom is from. Do you know it? Where did you live? I'm still somewhat familiar with that area, so I might know where you lived.

I am from Bury St Edmunds which is about 10 miles from Lakenheath! Yes I know Peterborough, A schoolfriend of mine moved there and I visited a few times also was HQ of the newspaper I worked for !!Isn't it a small world
