Groceries to DVC

Im staying at SSR in May and will be ordering groceries from SSR. Do they deliver to our studio or am I responsible for carting them?

We have ordered food several times directly from DVC and the items were in our villa when we arrived. I don't know what would have happened if we had changed rooms at check-in, though!!

This trip we are ordering from Marge at WeGoShop. She schedules a delivery day and time with you and then you call her with your room number and your things are delivered to you. They can also be left with Bell Services and then they will deliver them to your room. I think that GardenGrocer works the same way.

Thank you so much! We are very excited about staying on Disney Property for the first time. We wont have a car so we want to make sure our bases are covered. Ive just read some different instances on here where people had to pick up their own groceries from the resort. Id rather not deal with that. Its what Im paying Disney to do.

We have used Garden Grocer before and were very happy with them. Easy, on-line ordering, can pay through pay-pal and you can select a delivery time. Our groceries actually arrived before we did, but they were waiting for us at Bell Services. We just told them that we had a grocery delivery and had them brought up with our luggage. Bell Service has an area to store them so everything, including the ice cream , was perfect. I think that either Garden Grocer or Wego Shop would have better prices and selection that what you can order from the resort. Enjoy your stay!

We used garden grocer on our last trip and it was great. It was waiting at bell services, and they brought it up with the luggage. The cold stuff was cold and ready to put into the fridge. You can also order beer and wine if you like by adding it on in the comments section. (then they will let you know what the cost will be).

Yeah the funny thing is that the SSR groceries are actually cheaper than gardengrocer. The only thing that was higher priced at SSR was the milk. The cookies, chips, etc were all a dollar cheaper at SSR.

I used Marge at WeGoShop last year and it worked out great. She had to come out twice during our stay!! With 7 boys, all 18 years old, I went through more Gatorade than I orginally planned!!!!

Do regular grocery stores not deliver or do you need to go through these specialized services?
