We will be leaving for BWV next Sunday and are using Yourride for transportation to and from the airport. We have requested a stop for groceries on our way to the BWV, and Yourride said that they will stop at Publix or Winn Dixie. I am unfamiliar with both of these chains. Any preference from those, who have used these stores?

Thanks for any responses!

We stop at Publix on the way to Disney every year and they have everything we need. Like a regular grocery store.

Well, in May I wanted to stop at Publix because all I've read on the boards. My mother wanted to stop at Winn Dixie because we have them here. Winn Dixie had little selection IMHO and was very high. I've read on the boards several times that publix is more reasonable. Never been there, plan on stopping on Dec. trip, but I wouldn't recommend Winn Dixie.

Thank you for helpful responses. I e-mailed Yourride that We would prefer to stop at Publix on our way to BWV.

I love these boards, they are such great resources!

Does anyone know if these are 24 hour stores? We won't be arriving until close to 11:00? TIA

I looked up Publix and this is what it said:

Main: (407) 397-1171

In April we used Happy Limo and our driver took us to Albertson's on the way to AS Sports. We got usual water and soft drinks and we picked up a bbq chicken and salad. After we checked in we ate and then headed to DTD for our first night.
