GRIPING here about new DIS rule!!

Ok,
I have been an active member here since 2004 (under another name) and actively been a member with this name since 2007. i have made over 400 post since then. I also bought many many people to this board as well over the years!!

The last few years i have been using the DIS for DVC rental/transfers board with success.

However, i have also noticed the posts on DVC trade boards have been dying down--and was not sure why. Anyhow, i attempted to post DVC trade for my DVC rental/transfer and in the past, have always been approved for posting.

Well, this time, i was rejected today because i didn't quite make the 50 post mark but also didn't do it EVENLY DISTRUBUTED throughout 6 months, but made the most posts in a 2 month period. What i don't understand, what is the POINT of this rule???

I come here DAILY, and read BUDGET BOARDS, DISNEY CRUISE LINES BOARD and DVC to read updates. SO i do MORE READING than posting...will it satisified the moderator if i just simply post.."Thanks"..for each board i read so i can meet my quota of evenly distributed of 50 points??? ANother postee was rejected as well even though she made beyond the 50 points the last 6 moths as per rule, but most of it were during the one or 2 months so accordance to a moderator, it was NOT EVENLY DISTRIBUTED!!!!...so my questions is this...HOW MANY POSTS PER MONTH ARE YOU EXPECTING A POSTER TO POST???? SO IF I SKIP A MONTH WITHOUT POSTING< THEN I HAVE TO START THE 6 MONTH OVER AGAIN???

now, i CAN SEE why there are less posts for DVC trading boards. I like to know what is the point of the rule.. I would appreciate a little more detail of the new rule and what is your expectation and defination of the "evenly distributed" # of posts over 6 months!!

Search for the umpteen threads on this topic that have been posted since ?before Christmas? I think. And recently. And the notice from the mods on ALL the DVC boards explaining what the rules were going to be -- there were actually 2 separate rule changes, both announced in advance - long in advance.

Those threads also explain that your posts have to be meaningful, so "thanks" or "I agree" do not count.
